Liverpool want to sell Ryan Kent not loan him out. Why? Because he is not that good and they don't want him back. Result? We will buy him then wish we hadn't.

to be fair there is a huge gap between us and liverpool not being good enough for them don't mean we won't be amazing for us
however i personally am not excited by kent i am sure he is talented but i don't think we need another player of his type but crying out for a centerback and maybe a striker (depending on edmonson) we was on gibsons trail but that seems to of gone cold and i don't understand why we are not moving heaven and earth for a centre back. I would literally take any centre back who is a centre back and not a full back convert even if he played for the dog and duck under gary neville.

Ed001 - any insights as to Kent’s ability?
{Ed001's Note - good feet, pacy but lacks end product. One thing that is impressive is that he tends to be a big game player, he is not one for wilting and hiding away when the pressure is on. However, he needs to do more than just run with the ball to really be a top class player. His decision making and crossing/shooting need work. Bielsa is probably the right man to make something of him. Alexis Sanchez was moulded into a top class player that Barcelona spent a fortune on by Bielsa taking a raw winger and moulding him into someone they saw as competition for Messi on the right.}

eds note just makes me more sure good player but not what we need. MB must see this surely mind you ed what is kent like at CB?
{Ed001's Note - I would say useless but Bielsa managed to turn Gary Medel into a centre back and he was a fair bit shorter than Kent! Perhaps the new trend Bielsa will institute is a centre back who dribbles it out from the back and into the opposing box, rather than just the boring old passing it around at the back?}
