always leeds ain't it,

we sort out manager quickly then faff about with take over or investment.

I am praying the take over happens and fast

as mills says getting investors for 10% here and there will make no diffrence like with 49ers. they put money in club and we still sold our only international (at the time) for under 10 million when Bielsia said don't sell

we need them to invest otherwise they might buy another club and whoever they buy will become a powerhouse

rads is clearly skint ( as chairmen go) and made some bad investments with 11 sports so I hope he pockets the profit he deserves and rides off into the sunset

realisticly if they take over we will be champs league within five years top. people say money don't buy success but that much money does.

I have to agree.

I’m tending to agree too Bermo, and unlike Citeh and Scouse, we won’t gain a load of plastic fans, because everyone hates us! ✊🏻.

Spot on Bermo we have to look at the bigger picture. If the money and intent is there then the investors WILL get what they want and its just a case of who benefits. We will kick ourselves if they end up buying, say, Derby and they go on to become the next Citeh won't we regardless of where we are at the time?

yeah alf my biggest worry is they walk away and buy another club because it will leave us further behind, I don't see how rads can say it will be a hard summer and not sell, seems to make no sense and be very disrespectful to us and the city as a whole.

as for plastic fans of course we will gain them but the proper fans will always be proper fans,

lets be honest liverpool and city have both picked up plastic fans but they still have the die hard core proper fans and for that reason i still see them as a proper club maybe unlike chelsea who for me had no fans until roman turned up. liverpool and city are still proper clubs with proper fans and leeds will be that even if we get a few of the prawn sandwich brigade in the process.

Too right Bermo.

Plastic fans and 'football tourists' follow success be it L'pool, Citeh, Chelski, Barcelona, Real Madrid or anyone else. So whether we get back to the top with or without investors if we start seeing success again we will attract the tourists whether we like it or not. Look at the gates this year - sell outs for nearly every game but where the heck were that lot when we were in League 1? Nowhere I can tell you cause I was there looking at a load of empty seats. We can either be League 1 or lowers half of the table and have 25000 each week or up there selling out and building super stadiums to cope with the demand and the trophy cabinet but we can't have both. I personally would like to see a bit of success for the club I love and the facts are you can't get it these days without a sugardaddy.

07 Jun 2019 18:15:18
very true alf these days money speaks so we can't have both and i think our honest fans have been put through the mill enough to deserve some oil money

I disagree slightly about in league one, even in that league we still had a lot of fans and proper fans too. didn't we have more at home in league one than juventus and some other top club one week

plastic fans come and go but proper fans and the heart of a club sticks and leeds have that. I have not always been proud of the club or the players playing but leeds fans have always made me feel proud. and i'm from millwall.

We did amazing for a L1 club and broke records but we were still around 15000 down every week on the numbers we saw last season due to the fair weather fans returning.

Think it’s just that people want to see good football Alf in all honesty. For the money paid, anyway. Good football is back, excitement and positivity is back, hence the crowds. That’s my take on it, anyway.

Alf, Bright is right, good football and good results attract an audience on television and in the ground. Games involving Leeds are exciting games because of the way we play and allow teams to play against us. If we get promoted there will be even more “ fair weather fans”.
