Whilst bouc is a good player I am amazed that that might be all we get.
Need three in today which I will be surprised if we do.
Very threadbare. I’m not convinced we have enough to survive.

I agree Aus.
I think the 49's have again lied about their desire to create a team capable of competing, I sincerely hope I am wrong, but their history of doing things on a shoestring tells me otherwise.
They gambled on going up last year on a shoestring, and they are gambling EPL survival on a shoestring.
If they fail to bring in the cover we all know we desperately need to survive, then, like after the summer transfer window, I want them out, because as Paraag said himself, he negotiates these deals in his sleep, which can only mean they are not negotiating any deals, or we would have the players we want.

Midfield. Super computer is now predicting we will be 4 from bottom, Trust in then not believe in nothing they say, you won’t go far wrong, as we all know it’s a money game .

The deal negotiation stage comes after a club has accepted the offer. Paraag is a contract expert more than anything else.

Oh MG. honestly what tosh!
Do you really think the the 49's [read that as dozens of folks investing their own money] are not doing everything in their power to protect their investment.
If we are not buying someone, it's because there is no one, they can't afford those they want or they think they don't need someone.
re Shoestring, never in our history, have we spent so much money as in the last 3-4 years. Just because we can't spend like City / Liverpool, doesn't mean the club is not spending as much as it can / afford. It's only 12 months ago, folks were moaning we couldn't spend as much as Norwich.
We spent like crazy in the season trying to survive last time and we all saw how well that worked - we are still feeling the ramifications now.
January is always a waste of money; the only players generally available are those not playing elsewhere or those whose contract is expiring and clubs are cashing in.
We are not an attractive proposition for those players in these circumstances. Who wants to sign a 4 year deal to be battling at the wrong end of the table, when higher pay, European football and trophy prospects are abound elsewhere.

I think whether you bring in players or not in this transfer window it all a gamble anyways.
Bringing in new players, especially in the January transfer window guarantees absolutely nothing.
If it’s just about making up the numbers you are wasting your time and money as a club.
I believe the club made all their correct decisions in the summer bar an attacking midfielder, we’ve got one now in Bounanotte.
What more do you want?
