Everyone keeps on about all the poor performances being DF fault, maybe it's just taken the new players longer to bed in.
It more likely alongside the formation tweaks, the hard work and coaching at the training ground is now starting to bear fruit.

I think the change in formation has def helped. I had the feeling that the whole team were baffled by the previous negative defensive tactics. Now it’s changed every man and his brother are under for it and giving it a go.

Change of tactics have certainly improved our performance's but taken 2 and a bit years to happen, pleased for DF but still confused why the blindingly obvious to virtually all on here took so long to be implemented.

To be fair Farke changed back to his favourite formation after the hour mark and it worked wonders. Nice to have different ways of playing and DF has finally cottoned on to it.

Oldbri - your "2 and a bit years" comment is ridiculous. Whatever the tactics were; they worked sensationally in the Championship; they got us to a playoff final and to become champions, with more victories and goals than any other time in our history. By any measure, but if you only consider the one, winning, then his tactics were and have been spot on for at least 2 years.
As for "poor performances, " I would contest that there hasn't been many - 3 so far this season. Arsenal, Brighton and Forest. In those 3 games, we were poor and never really looked like competing for large parts of the games. We've been pretty unlucky in more games than we have been poor.

As I’ve pointed out before, what’s the point of having a manager if all the best tactics and formations can be taken from Leeds posters on here or their favorite content creator.
Too many on here trying to justify now their habitual Farke out drum bashing, by saying, now he’s following our advice he can stay, but he lost too many games that we should’ve easily won.

Basically fans like you Oldbri create a very uneasy atmosphere for those who are trying to do their very best for Leeds United football club, another one who only sings when we win or draw.
I’m not trying to be aloof as Chris kindly pointed out to me, it’s more about realize what your lemming like negative drum bashing can create when our team and coach have all the odds stacked against them but are giving their maximum to survive this season and celebrate a better one next season with our great fans again, in the Premiership.

Spot on Cork. Our problem before was that we only had a Plan A, and clever Prem managers had cottoned on to that and worked out how to play us. On Saturday we started 3:5:2 (like Chelski and 2nd half Man C) , then went to 4:3:3 and finally 4:2:4 and Liverpool were totally confused by the end.
Now (seemingly) DF has a selection of formations to choose from. and hopefully we can confuse a few more teams.

Sorry OP but what a load of bollox!
Oldbri and anyone else is entitled to their opinion. Nobody on here has said Farke should now stay on as manager because we got 4 points in three games. Most are saying, quite rightly so, that a change in formation and subs used are the way forward instead of being a one trick pony team not quite good enough.

Sorry Cork but I think it’s all you impatient hindsight fans who have been calling for Farke’s sacking for a long time now, talking as you call it bollox.
Farke never needed fans like you and others who had instilled a bad atmosphere around Leeds Utd by calling for his sacking and destabilizing quite possibly players and staff.
Farke also does not need impatient, hindsighted
, constantly criticizing and delusions of grandeur fans like you and never has, he is the one who makes "all" the decisions concerning tactics and formations, not you. !
The impatience with Aaronson when Farke had neither Gnonto or James to replace him due to injuries is an example of the ineptitude to have the slightest understanding of what he has to deal with.
By the way thank you for reminding everyone it was only four points he’s won out of eighteen, yet strangely everyone wanting him sacked for a long time now, suddenly have changed their minds.

This team still lacks quality to survive this season but due to the very hard work by the staff and players alike we still may have a chance of keeping our heads above water and survive this season. Unlike some who are now thinking of us finishing in a European place because Farke finally listened to some old moaning fans on here.
