A very below par game yesterday, typically against a team that we never do well against. Missing KP and Raph was also key but pretty much every one of our players who have recently put in outstanding performances like Dallas, Struijk and Allioski were all sadly off their game against Brighton. I also think it is pretty conclusive that Roberts isn’t going to be the player we would like him to be, he is what he is, a Championship player.
Every team has a really poor game in the season, it’s how they react in their next game which tells you the character of the team.

As I put yesterday, next this season and our expected finishing spot around mid table has been brilliant. However it’s been a strange season in many ways, due to c.v. and no fans some teams have flourished some have struggled to deal with no fans. Personally I feel Bamford is one who has benefitted from it as no fans there to get on his back etc. Next season we all know we have to strengthen to stand still so to speak! Second season syndrome is a real thing we’ve seen it happen so many times. We won’t be an unknown quality next season, so we must bring in the next level quality and accept that another mid table finish is still successful. Indeed it is for the next 3-5 years to establish ourselves sustainably rather than a boom and bust. We all know where we need to add the add quality and who needs to possibly be moved on.
I can’t wait for the transfer window to open and the excitement of new signings, whose coming in? Will we get De Paul? Draxler and co? One things for certain, we all hope we can get to the church next season and cheer the boys on, stay safe fellow leeds fans and let’s finish this season as strong as possible, recruit well over the summer and hope for an other good season next year. For sure it’s gunna be harder than this one as other teams will also improve.
