Looks like a interesting side out against Salford! All the subs will play, Eddie to get minutes off the bench and some other kids involved. I really hope Pascal gets a chance, taller, bigger, deserves a chance to show what he can do.

I can't believe that Pascal hasn't been banging on the door of the first team, he may not be as good as White or Coops but he's certainly a more capable CB than any of our back ups (that's not a dig at Berardi, I actually like him)

Pascal should be playing as he is good improving player. For me he needs to be in and around first team although i thought the same of Halme and look where he is.

The good news for him is that he has survived the cull. He offers us something a bit different, taller, heavier. And good with his head at both ends. For me he would be a good option to have on the bench for some of those games against lower table teams with the old fashioned centre backs that Bermo loves. Let’s see if he gets a sniff tomorrow.

Bud, I don’t know if with Pascal and Ryan, Bielsa thinks they are limited in what positions they can play. Ryan is more your out and out Centre Forward and Pascal your more traditional Centre back. Both I think would be good options to have when plan AA isn’t working. They are both different . Every time I see JC playing with Ryan they seem to have a telepathic understanding. JC knows where he is going to be and gets the delivery right. Likewise Pascal has had some commanding games and showed he can score. I know the standard is different but tonight would give them an opportunity against a better quality side.

i rate some of our youngesters and certainly repsect spanishes opinion of the young ones so bit surprised and worried they are not at least on the bench.

I think some more of them will be involved tomorrow Bermo. I think Bielsa was quite cleat in the summer about who could make it and where they were in the q. Today he said some players accepted their place and wanted to stay and fight and others wanted to go elsewhere, Oduor being one of those. I’m assuming, Pascal, Ryan Kun and others wanted to stay and fight.
He obviously likes Bogusz, and he should get a start tomorrow and Leif and Robbie should get time. Here’s hoping. My view on Pascal is he’s strong and tall, plays CB, so worth an outing!

I understand where you are coming from Spanish but U23s play same system as first team and Edmo bangs them in for them and got hat trick in his only game for pre season so honestly can not see the problem him stepping up. Hope he gets a run out against Salford but reckon Eddie will be in there. This is my concern with our young players. We seem happy to bring young ones with big reps from PL and play them regardless, ie Harrison last season, but overlook the ones we have showing promise. Not going to be able to show how good he is if not given the chance catch 22, bye bye Edmo.

Bud, I’m with you 100% on Ryan and also Pascal. They to me are young kids that offer something different and therefore useful to have on the bench and around the squad. They both give you that extra physicality that as Bermo rightly says, you need in some championship games.
