Football's a funny old game as Mr Jimmy Greaves famously once said.
Vile Villa should have been relegated last season but for the ridiculous failing VAR goal line technology against the Blades ( thus unfairly relegating Bournemouth instead )
Now after splashing around a billion quid they suddenly look like they could end up challenging for the title/ champions league.
Villa could at present consider themselves one of the luckiest/ most fortunate clubs in world football.

Baz, agree with you, but Bournemouth were relegated because over 38 games they weren't good enough, if the blunts goal had stood we can't say that they would of stayed up, lockdown saved Ville because they got players back fit, but (and no one hates Ville as much as me) they did good transfer buisness, but an injury to grealish or mings or the goalie or Barkley and they would struggle
IMO.
