Villa did want him fact, they will still take him for 15 million or less. They just won't pay the 30 million we have been quoted as wanting. Radz is more likely to sell for less given the fire sale we seem to be having. Respect the fact that it's your opinion he is crap, but many more think he is a good player.

CanadaWhite, I said it was a fact that Villa wanted Phillips, regarding if or not they had bid for him it was reported that they had offered 14 million but Leeds were not prepared to except and had opened contract talks with him. The villa manager had spoke to the Birmingham mail and said that he was interested in signing Phillips. My point was that Bermo said he didn't think anyone was really interested in Phillps.

All I know is everyone I spoke to outside of the club but in the profession don’t rate Phillips spurs who was linked laughed at him literally the thought of signing Phillips made him laugh then paper talk linked them so we never know.

I currently looking for a theatre for my adult panto so I have told venue I am very interested in another venue to get me a better deal with the venue I really want
Villa might of done the same we know they said they was interested in Phillips but we know they brought another player of similar mould

Coaches would never talk up a player they are going to try and buy. Makes no sense telling the world you want someone. Will only drive up the price!
Similar articles have said Leeds are interested in hundreds of players each year. All BS. If we want someone we will bid for them pure and simple.
If someone had bid for Phillips then Leeds would have officially announced that we had rejected a bid.
Didn't happen.
