I wonder are the other clubs sites as spiteful as this one? It amazes me the carry on. I've made the odd comment which in the cold light of day regretted and then made my apologies the next day. But this thing has turned into a them and us kinda thing amongst us Leeds fans. Banter is banter but on here?
Maybe I'm just getting old.

I still can't fathom for the life of me how for that first goal our whole defence was watching the man with the ball and left 4 players pretty much unmarked .
And now firpo could be so lazy for the second goal .
Almost every attack Southampton had we were ball watching .
How have we become so bad after such a good season.

Firpo poor for second and Kamara didn't track Smallbone either. Both stood together then Smallbone ran 40 yards while Kamara watched the ball. Total lack of discipline and concentration by both.

Although newly promoted Leeds had a remarkable season in 1964/ 65 . imo they were NOT and never the strongest team for much of the mid to late 60s . Man U were arguably stronger 1964 -68, Liverpool were also strong and Everton and Citeh had outstanding Champions seasons

1970 to 1974 imo both Leeds and Liverpool were equally very strong. Arsenal were strong too.


Dodgy refs in 71 and dodgy FA scheduling in 72 ordering Leeds to play crucial final league game on Monday just after Cup final on Saturday denied Leeds 2 more Championships

Revie team deserved to win 4 Leagues from 10 seasons ( rather than 2 ) but there were 5 seasons when clearly there were better teams than Leeds specifically 1960s seasons.

Keep it real Alf Cuppa. 🙄.

I think citeh have won something like 5nout of 6 titles? Numerous fa and league cups, Europe. Revies Leeds in 13 years did the league twice, fa Cup once, bottled europe, did he even win a league cup? Pathetic with that team. Pep would have had a dynasty. Can't blame refs Bazza - if Revie was good enough they would have won 4 times what they did.

Revie's Leeds were in second division for 3 years. he galvanised a failing 2nd division club .

Leeds were 🏆 Champions 2nd Division in his 3rd season

In the next ten years he won the 1sr Division twice . close to winning 3 other times against top clubs in Man U, Liverpool, Arsenal, Everton, Citeh ( and Cloughs Derby latterly)

Revie's Leeds also won TWO EUROPEAN TROPHIES 2 UEFA Cups ( Fairs Cup as it was called then ) 1967/ 68 and 1970/ 71 and finalists 66/ 67

Cheated by bent refs who were later arrested for taking brivea and banned by URFA in EC and ECWC

Leeds also won the League Cup in 1967

Cuppa them be the facts 💯.

Good shout Corky, for me Summerville and Gnonto seem to sulk a lot if things are not exactly going to their plan, whereas Rutter seems to really really care about losing and not playing well. Mez, Cooper, Bamford, Piroe, Firpo, Shackleton and Geldhart can go. Must keep Joseph, Rodon, Amps, Gruev, Kamara, Cresswell and Baz’s DJ. We’ve got some good young ones coming through, some are already on the bench (Crew) , build for the future and get rid of the ones that want away. I’m tired of seeing the same old patterns of play with players that can’t do it or don’t want to do it! MOT.

Yep, woody’s summary all the way, tho tbh, not contemplating it until season is well over, and the window opens. See where everyone else is, and who we can bring in potentially. Plus, a number of those out on loan to be binned off too! What division we are in will define which of them we consider keeping e. g. Bill.

OK peeps, here is how it goes, we win our last two, Leicester draw both of theirs, Ipswich take a maximum of 2 points from from Hull and Coventry and we are champions by a +1 goal difference better than the foxes. Simples. Maybe. perhaps. Well, we all got to dream 😆.
