Not seen Sheff Utd this season.
Can somebody give me their good and bad points and our chances?
Don't like sharp playing against us. He is a nuisance. Maybe try and get him injured or sent off early.

I'm best placed to answer POTS as Bige shall testify. Strengths. 1. Physicality, air dominance and set plays 2. General speed of play and movement 3. High conversion rate of chances 4. Passion, desire, tackling and teamwork. Siege mentality. 5. Sharp as in Billy. 6. Loyal fans. Weaknesses 1. Prone to counter attack 2. They always seem to give opponents chances to score no matter how they play 3. I surmise they're now on auxiliary power so tiredness in games a factor 4. No bench, certainly nowhere like ours. What you see what you get.

They are beatable but I see this very much as a "second half" game. All equal going into the break then it's all about skill and desire second half. I can see Clarke having a big effect on the game as sub, also Pontus needs to be in his element.

Thanks George.
Maybe the answer to make sure we run them ragged and go at them hard in last 30 min. I take it they will come for the three points so won’t park the bus.
Have they many pacey players?

If you beat one of their players they commit a tactical foul and rarely get punished for it.

i was going to say similar to most on here, they are a team better than the sum of thier parts although have a few decent players.

I am just dumbfounded they are where they are in their first season with the squad they have. Think it shows that its teamwork and having belief in your manager and the way you play that gets you out of this league. This year we have had a passion among the players and fans that has been missing for a long time. Every one is committed to the cause and willing to give their all. If you compare WBA and SU squads you would pick WBA to come out on top but its shown that over a gruelling season in this league its not just about who has the best players. Fair play to all the top three they deserve to be where they are. Tactical fouls are part of the game today and hopefully the ref will be aware on the day. Me i have faith in our lads and the belief that this is our year, MOT.

It’s going to be a great battle, tough on the field and interesting to see the two coaches up against each other and how they are able to respond and influence the game once it’s started. Really need the referee to be tough but fair and clamp down on the late fouls and cheating from the start.

Great post BIGE, I think the three teams at the top have the three coaches who have found a way of building a strong team spirit and maximising the talent they have at their disposal. Can’t see it being a game for Izzy Brown but I can for Clarke and Shackleton, and I’d have Edmondson on the bench as well, but I can’t see that happening.

Bit like when we came up though BIGE - keeping the momentum going from previous season and the morale. Until Master Bates sold all our best players, anyway.

Key is not conceding early but I can see us losing this one 1-2.

I'm worried about the ref, he hasn't done any of our matches this season but he's the one that let Millwoe talk him into sending Cooper off last season. And he's card happy. Hopefully he will try to be strong ( doubt it though)
