Apparently we knocked back several enquiries for Summerville during window as Bielsa has “big plans” for him. Hopefully see him in the first team before long.

Oxwhite

1.) 03 Sep 2021 23:51:31
He gave him a little respect, no erasing him from the bench.

2.) 04 Sep 2021 10:52:46
🤦‍♂️ George.

3.) 04 Sep 2021 17:02:49
Why you making me work so hard.

31 Aug 2021 13:59:43
Looks like Valencia might be taking Costa - be good to see him out the door today.

Oxwhite

1.) 31 Aug 2021 15:27:42
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Total waste of money for us.

20 Oct 2020 17:23:32
Looks like Phillips out for 6 weeks with shoulder injury. Might be a tough time coming up, Bielsa has hinted that Llorente can play DM or Struik if Llorent as CB.

Oxwhite

1.) 20 Oct 2020 17:34:58
Pretty sure Koch can play/ has played DM too. Just a case of getting enough bodies fit, will be a struggle till Cooper and Llorente return certainly, unless we go back 3 or change to a formation without that role.

2.) 22 Oct 2020 06:13:09
Koch can but who will take Koch's place in defence?

3.) 22 Oct 2020 08:22:41
Pasc definitely replacing Phillips, which to me means that Bill moves across, and shacks will play RB. Can’t see that this weakens us at all, which is really positive.!

4.) 23 Oct 2020 00:24:43
Didn't we go to a back 3 of Ayling, coops and Dallas at some point in a match last season? Same thing but with Koch instead of coops and have Harrison and Costa drop to inverted wing backs? Not the most solid looking defence but with Struik dropping into a back 4 when we lose the ball it could work.

09 Aug 2019 08:54:32
According to Angus Kinnear Leeds refused 20mill for KP, plus offers for Forshaw and Ayling tiking it to 35 mill rejected as Bielsa sees them as key to promotion. Doesn't sound like a money grabbing owner milking the club to me. But only my humble opinion.
Shout me down boys.

Oxwhite

1.) 09 Aug 2019 09:05:05
I’ll back you ox.

2.) 09 Aug 2019 09:16:43
exactly.

3.) 09 Aug 2019 09:27:39
Completely agree Ox. Add Pablo to that mix of players. Surely if Radz was milking the club at least one of these would've gone. I think they've achieved in this window exactly what they set out to achieve. Trouble makers gone, squad trimmed of players who weren't going to be involved (with FFP in mind) , only quality added and money in the bank. Can't for the life of me agree with the negativity although everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but I'd suggest that we all look at the bigger picture. We have a better squad and are well equipped for promotion with money in the bank if we have to buy a couple of new players in January for the run in.

MM.

4.) 09 Aug 2019 10:03:50
Agreed overall, but would have liked another CB.

5.) 09 Aug 2019 10:32:27
Great post Ox and great to see the support for your views.

6.) 09 Aug 2019 11:23:48
👍🏻🍻👍🏻🍻.

7.) 09 Aug 2019 10:06:08
Kinnear is fibbing.

8.) 09 Aug 2019 11:58:31
Agree Ox, no complaints about how Radz is running the club. I would rather we are promoted without over spending above what we can afford.
We’re making progress and last season showed what happens when fine tuning is done sensibly.

Onwards and Upwards.

9.) 09 Aug 2019 16:13:37
Kinnear also said last summer we were going to be double busy in the transfer window, that went well also didn't it .

10.) 09 Aug 2019 21:47:57
Wow, the same negative views from the same negative posters! What a surprise.

11.) 10 Aug 2019 06:00:53
We were busy

Also creative with finances ( but not in the dodgy way direby operative)

Don’t think we will spend much in January as MB is never in favour

Money banked hopefully means we don’t need to sell

What happens on the pitch is all that matters now and this division is not easy.

12.) 10 Aug 2019 14:28:50
wow midfield general, the same views from the same lot, at least some of us here can see through the brown stuff, happy with today were ya?

13.) 10 Aug 2019 14:47:59
we signed 2 players for main squad last summer,
If that's busy other woody then i guess you might just be 1 of those council workers who sit. about all day doing (loads of work )

14.) 10 Aug 2019 18:33:14
Chris Chris and whoever gave you a thumbs up, I am a Civil Servant and I do actually do more than a day's work on average. Thou presume too much on the basis of little info re how it actually works, rather than fact. don't beleive all of the myths blossom. I suspect that Radz, Orta and Bielsa know far more than you or I when taking their decisions. ps I would also suggest not getting a government job. Might be a shock to your system cherub.

15.) 10 Aug 2019 19:56:20
Chris Chris it’s a marathon not a sprint. A point against one of the better teams is better than a loss, what part of 5 yr plan is it you don’t understand?

16.) 10 Aug 2019 22:45:51
I actually have now heard it all @ they think its all over, if you reckon Forest are 1 of the better teams in this league, then its time. to stop this post immediately, because my jaw is sore from laughing at that 1,

17.) 10 Aug 2019 22:52:40
So if an opinion is not the same as your opinion that person is a moaner or negative. How does that work exactly, who sets the standards. Its a banter page no need for labeling people. its like the thought police.

18.) 10 Aug 2019 23:10:22
bielsasbud, go through the comments its ME who is being called the MOANER.

19.) 11 Aug 2019 09:03:58
I know Chris and its a regular thing that anyone who gives an opinion that is not all hunky dory is a negative moaner. Instead of a reply showing why you are wrong in others opinion you just become a moaner. Sorry that's not banter. For me Leeds is my club and if i think some thing is wrong will post it and if some one can prove me wrong fair play but just saying i am negative so i am wrong is silly.

20.) 11 Aug 2019 10:29:24
Totally agree BB. Time to give the “labelling” a break.

21.) 11 Aug 2019 16:50:49
Right always has you down as a “reasonable” poster!

15 Jul 2019 08:11:42
So it looks like Bielsa will cut short his own tour time and come back before the tour team to get the newbies and international late returners up to speed in training. What a dedicated bloke he really is. Hope all his work pays off this season. MOT to the PL.

Oxwhite

1.) 15 Jul 2019 12:02:53
He’s not gone yet has he! It clearly shows both sets of players are important. I genuinely think he is happy about the fitness levels of those in Australia and less so with the others who are late arrivals for whatever reason. Also I guess better for Bailey to play in matches here than sit on the bench in Australia. Possible also wants to be here to keep involved in incomings and outgoings.

See Wilder is up to his old tricks, horrible man glad he got a red card and they lost.

Oxwhite

1.) 01 Oct 2025 17:35:52
Funny enough all my millwall mates were praising him. Says something about them I guess.

2.) 01 Oct 2025 19:07:10
I think as a championship manager he’s what you need. Gets his players fired up. Wouldn’t ever want him as mate premier league manager. A bit like a Neil warnock type. Off the pitch wilder is a lovely man. If you rang at 2am broke down at the side of the road he’d help you type guy.

3.) 01 Oct 2025 19:21:23
Do do do, Wilder is a .

4.) 01 Oct 2025 20:39:56
Banker

I have a cold.

5.) 01 Oct 2025 22:13:28
I actually quite like Wilder but obviously in the minority.
He’s the sort of guy if he was our manager we’d love him, or maybe that’s just me?
Apparently a top fella too.

6.) 02 Oct 2025 08:17:47
Totally on board with Corkey on this one. Hate him for an oppo, but respect him as a gaffer. If we were to go down again, I wouldn't be looking much further than him to get us back up!

7.) 02 Oct 2025 11:11:37
I have a mate who knows him well and says he is a top bloke.

People say don’t rate him in prem but went from leauge 1 to 9th in prem with compativaly small transfer kitty.

Has a style and knows how to get best out of lesser teams. I’ve always rated him.

8.) 02 Oct 2025 15:40:38
Bright - surely if we went down again we shouldn’t be looking much further than Farke to bring his back up.

9.) 02 Oct 2025 16:28:39
Na then Mighty. Can't disagree in principle, but I don't think we would re-hire him. If it ever looks like we may go down, he'll get the boot first. Don't think the 49ers are the types to bring someone back.

10.) 02 Oct 2025 19:02:15
Berm, he had an outrageous budget and if villa failed to be promoted they were fluffed. However I still think he can get the best out of players and does fire up them up.

11.) 02 Oct 2025 21:41:22
Live away days? He had an outrageous budget to get sheff utd from 12th in leauge one to 9th in prem? 100% certain he spent less than Belisa who took leeds from chasing promotion under mink (we under achieved after monk) to 9th in prem.

Pound for pound Wilde did a far better job and don’t think any one can dispute that? Can they?

12.) 02 Oct 2025 22:19:53
I’ve no idea why or how but I actually confused his achievement with dean smith at villa and his budget. Apologies. You are correct about him at Sheffield.

13.) 02 Oct 2025 22:21:25
But your spiel about Bielsa is still tosh.

14.) 03 Oct 2025 03:16:24
Fantastic enough away days mot.

15.) 04 Oct 2025 00:28:35
That was fair enough, drunk typo!

11 Aug 2025 17:10:48
talksport linking us with Calvert-lewin if we don't get Muniz, hope that's not the case.

Oxwhite

1.) 11 Aug 2025 17:59:22
Highly likely reportedly!

2.) 11 Aug 2025 18:23:27
Most of our targets have sailed. They've signed elsewhere or they don't want to come. Muniz, Kristovic or El K aren't coming, McAtee is off to Forest and P went to France. CL comes with a lot of injury baggage. When he's fit he's good at leading the line but I still wouldn't take him. We have to be realistic. We might find that stellar striker, AM or winger but I think it's more likely that it will be Sargeant, Hamer) Buendia and JH being the back up winger.

3.) 11 Aug 2025 18:31:24
Until he hit his mega goal drought he was a decent striker.

I agree Ox that he certainly wouldn't be my first choice but it might be a case of any port in a storm: (.

4.) 11 Aug 2025 18:51:44
We were promised 100 mil plus to spend
We aren’t anywhere near
Bamford has less injuries than CL.

5.) 11 Aug 2025 19:03:06
He can’t stay fit for more than 5mins and he would believe he’s too good for Leeds.
Big NO.

6.) 11 Aug 2025 20:19:06
He can definitely hold the ball up and he definitely can head a ball. I wouldn't judge him on the dross Everton served up for him.

He wouldn't be my first pick, but he's better than Bamford IMO. If he is fit [and can stay fit], he would bring a lot of EPL experience to the team.

Folks have got be realistic; we are 2nd favourites to be relegated and half the teams in the league are offering European football and have decidedly more money to spend than us. We have already brought in 2 or 3 real gems.

7.) 11 Aug 2025 20:22:31
I thought we were promised £150m. Ipswich and the Saints spent about £139m last year and still went down. Sunderland have spent £150m, Burnley £110m and we need to catch up.

8.) 12 Aug 2025 03:56:04
Quality not quantity.

08 Jul 2025 19:09:36
Byram signed for another year, not bad as a squad player bit of strength in depth.

Oxwhite

1.) 08 Jul 2025 20:48:17
Totally agree Ox!

2.) 08 Jul 2025 21:26:27
And goes toward the homegrown quota as well.

3.) 09 Jul 2025 00:08:11
Pleased with byram signing. Solid defender.

4.) 09 Jul 2025 06:21:23
Byram rarely let's the team down when he plays, good addition to have as a squad player and good role model to the younger players . Happy to have him still around.

7.) 19 May 2025 08:30:05
Give it a rest Ox, coming on hear trying to spread positivity. Go back where you came from. ?
That's a joke by the way.

12 Mar 2025 07:45:54
So it swings back into our hands now, win all our remaining games and we win the league simples. seriously though it is going to be a rollercoaster but |I believe we have the cajones to do it this season, come on you whites to 6 points before the break. Put the pressure on as we sit top over the international hiatus. MOT.

Oxwhite

1.) 12 Mar 2025 11:44:08
Defo in our own hands, and agree that this squad will see it through this time. Can’t however seeing us winning all our remaining games, but we should do enough to take the title. Nothing is straight forward in the this league tho, as we all know too well.

2.) 12 Mar 2025 11:52:55
Think the next 2 away gamea vs QPR and Luton ( both early kick offs) will be acid test on Leeds bottling or not.

3.) 12 Mar 2025 14:27:22
You can bet the other two clubs will be doing the same one slip up by any of us we’ll let others in. Win is a must be beg tall order let’s op we have it in us.

4.) 12 Mar 2025 19:03:02
Whitey pal lurve ya
Your posts sometimes need deciphering a tad though.

5.) 12 Mar 2025 19:20:17

Never worth 11 Mill - all the "we don't need to sell him" stories etc pushed the price right up - well done MC, can't see any previous owners landing a deal like this!

Onwards and upwards - time to start signing some talent - fun season to come - I can't wait MOT
