Kane is great until it matters and the pressure is is on. He always let's England down when we get to the final stages of competitions. He also let Spurs down when they were going for the Premiership title a few seasons back. What's the expression? 'A flat track bully'.

A little unfair Hess. In fact total bollox.
How did he let England down is it because he never scored in a particular game or two?
Messi or Ronaldo have never scored after the last 16 round of games at a World Cup does that make them flat track bullies?

Just look at the facts. Its not just him not scoring goals when it really counts his game also goes to pieces. We'll see as the tournament progresses. I have said this before and people have disagreed but changed their minds when they saw his performances. Pundits put it down to him being a bit tired. He could be tired as well, I suppose. Look at the last five games he played for Spurs when Leicester won the premiership, he was absolute rubbish. Up until then he had been very good. Gets tired or bottles it or both? You might say when fans give an opinion it can be a bit like Strictly come dancing - never mind how good the dancing is - it's whether the contestant is popular. Or so the wife tells me - I don't watch it too busy in the gym!

I agree. Look at when Kane won the golden boot - 3 against tourney whipping boys Panama, 2 against Tunisia who aren't much better and a penalty I think. Then nothing when we really needed it.
