Southampton dismiss their manager, three points less than us, which makes you think they had an Emery type manager in waiting.
Now they have got permission from Luton to speak with their manager Nathan Jones, only time tells you if they have made the right decision.
They have very similar problem to ourselves in that they don’t score enough goals, but that’s fairly consistent across the bottom ten clubs in the league.
Still bargains to be had as Citeh only paid £14million for Alvarez but that’s Citeh in CL and wages to match.
Still think Perkins or Joseph can save us money in a similar way to Jimmy and Willy.

I agree that we need to replace Bamford at some point, but I’m still not sure that scoring goals is our main problem or at least creating them at the moment.
Bamford has missed a whole host of very good goal opportunities, not to mention bad refereeing decisions. We’ve racked up six goals in our last two games and we should of had a lot more.
The real problem lies with our defense, I think if it wasn’t for Meslier we would have conceded a lot more.
They really need to find a way to stop letting in so many easy goals through our defense.

Good post OP.
Our leaky defence is definitely an issue, but I personally think that its more to do with the high press and leaving themselves so exposed to the over the top counter attack
Bournemouth deployed that tactic pretty well, but once JM changed to a 3 midfield it protected the defence
But that's just my opinion and not a fact ?.
