Rambo. Gentleman in his late 30s. Former defensive midfielder with Benfica. Became Sporting manager approximately 3 years ago. Win % a stunning 70. Likes 3-4-3 formation. Attractive football, aggressive but controlled aggression, excellent communicator and intelligent, very highly thought of. Would presumably cost plenty in compensation and annual wage but in my opinion best in class outside EPL. Has defeated some notable scalps in European competition. Can see him becoming next big thing managerial wise soon. Just my tuppence. I like him.

Don't hold much hope for Newcastle playing like that, shocking!

Starting to look more like when than if Fulham catch them. Newcastle have the worst form in the league over the last 6 games (3 points) , Fulham have picked up more than double (7 points) . Add to that Fulham play 4 of the bottom 8 before the end of the season, Newcastle only 3 and that the last game is Fulham v Newcastle. The Toon either need a huge upturn in form or for Fulham to totally drop off.
Biggest worry for Newcastle has to be that they have a worse team and manager than last time, as well as less money. Might not be another quick bounce back if they go down.

Today, Leeds United Football Club can announce that the EFL has approved the sale of the Club to 49ers Enterprises, paving the way for the immediate transition of ownership.
Paraag Marathe, previously Vice Chairman and Board member of the Club, will take over as Leeds United Chairman. In this role, Marathe will oversee all aspects of the Club, including football and business operations, and drive the strategy to fight for promotion back to the Premier League in the 2023-2024 season. Marathe takes over from Andrea Radrizzani, who has been majority owner of Leeds United since 2017. Angus Kinnear, CEO of Leeds United and Board member, will remain in his current position, and continue to direct the Club's day-to-day operations. Rudy Cline-Thomas, Founder and Managing Partner of MASTRY, will join the Board as Co-Owner and Vice Chairman of the Club.
"This is an important moment for Leeds United and we are already hard at work, " said Marathe. "This transition is a necessary reset to chart a new course for the Club. We have already appointed a highly-respected First Team Manager with a track record of success, and we are confident Leeds will field a competitive squad to contend for promotion next season. It's a privilege to carry this torch as I know we have a responsibility to ensure this Club makes our staff, players, supporters, and the Leeds and Yorkshire communities proud. "

I’d be pretty worried if there weren’t any stern words by some of the players at half time. As for the fighting it’s probably an exaggeration
I do hope there will be a reaction by the players against Liverpool, because that was an inexcusable performance in the second half against Palace. They are definitely much better than that limp performance and I hope they put it right next time out.
