I am actually looking forward to a new look midfield next season . I think the last few seasons we have had the same faces and it's time for a freshen up . After last season I think it'll do us good . A new energy hopefully, new ideas.

We have had a weak midfield for at least 4 years now and imo that has been one of the main reasons for our struggles, particularly last year. If the new signings work out then that could help our performance all over the field. Reasons to be cautiously optimistic.

What we really need is for a number of our players to provide the creative spark, that way the opposition can’t stifle our creativity by doubling up on one player. Greenwood can develop into one of those players, as can Aaronson, Joffy (as he showed with his assist for Struijk’s goal v Brighton. If we do actually sign Sinisterra, he definitely has creative attributes, and of course if we are able to bring in CDK, he certainly would bring it. Looking at the profile of the forward players we are apparently targeting, it would seem that Orta and Marsch are very much aware of the need for additional creativity within the squad.
