why of why do we just invite them to play - should have hammered them, but oh no we just sit back and let them play. is that a managerial thing or the team deciding we don't need to do anymore. A win is a win, but that could have gone the other way.

For me, that's on the players. Nerves? Tension? Desperation?
Tbf to Spam, Fernandes and Potts made a difference when they came on, and Farke responded quickly to tighten the MF with Gruev for AO.

The players didn't tell one another to sit back Bright, come on.

True, but their biggest threats came through Bowen, a terrific bicycle kick that Perri saved and the assist for the goal notable among them. If Wet Spam get relegated he'll surely be looking for a new club next season, he started off with Hull City, so maybe he'd fancy a return to Yorkshire.

No they didn't Mo, but when you're a collective, playing in a team, you pick up the vibes, the movement, the body language, the positioning of those around you. You track with them, align with them, hold position/ formation with them.
It only takes one or two to drop, and the whole formation slips back too. It's what coaches teach from very early development stages.
If you're suggesting from your post that Farke instructed them to do that, then, well, I'm lost for words for once!
