Wow! Well you have to say that Sunderland haven't got much more to do to stay out of the dogfight! Still feel they will be dragged back from those lofty heights, but a lot said that of us under Marcelo in our first season up.

Yes you have to hand it to them, it looks like they are seizing their opportunities in games and I’m sure a good portion of luck is helping them also.
Afcon will leave their team a little sparse but if they can continue with this roll of form, especially the home games, then come January they might of already secured their safety in the Premiership?
Xhaka has been very influential for them.
I’m really looking forward to their visit to Elland Rd when we lock horns with them.

Xhaka has been, dare I say, a Strachan-esque signing for them. Thought it was a duff move at the time, but totally wrong, again!

You may remember Hull on 20 pts after nine games in the 2008/ 09 season, they finished 17th. Still, it is a impressive start all the same.
