OP mate I really enjoy your posts mate and I truly mean that. But if Leeds lost all of their remaining games you probably would still try and find a positive.
It must be great to have that kind of attitude in life? I wish I had same.

He praised Span and Brighton for being so and pushing us back good but wouldn’t blame our tactics.
He did make a negative comment about their passing I recall, which I was a bit uncomfortable with. Just a bit weird ?.

Many thanks Cork, it’s just the way I rule my life.
It doesn’t mean though that I don’t see the problems with our team it’s just that I don’t only focus on the worst parts instead I look for the positives in how we are playing.

I knew before we started this season that it was going to be a long and difficult season, watching our team have a few highs but a lot of lows concerning how we play and the results.
I just hoped that we could compete in this league and perhaps win enough points to survive.
I just don’t want us to look completely out of our depth and be treated like a rag doll like last season’s teams, Leicester, Ipswich and Southampton.

I’ve see enough so far that tells me although we are not going to set this league alight and it does look like we will struggle with most away games, but if we can be a very difficult team to beat at Elland rd we might be able to salvage just enough points to stay up.
If we can achieve that we can start our rebuild with more quality players for the next season.

Farke knows the strengths and weaknesses of all his players and I’m concerned if we do drop into the relegation zone in the next four to five games due to some very difficult fixtures, then I hope the 49er’s don’t get trigger happy and eject Farke.
I do believe even if we slide into the relegation zone we still can make it out to survive.

I totally get that fans will be jittery and nervous about this prospect, but if we go down that road of changing our coach I’m almost certain we will sign our fate to relegation.
We are not blessed with great quality in our squad, far from it in fact, but Farke in his time with us has built a team that can compete at this level and I believe the players do work well and respond collectively to his methods, if we change that, let’s say mid season it’s sure to erode any kind of bonding and understanding between the players, especially in a relegation battle.
My advice is to be patient but be aware this is going to be a very rough ride of a season.
Hang in there, get behind the players and our coach and we will see another season in the Premiership.

Seconded, Corkey.

I do feel bad sometimes hounding on opti, as he is the only consistently positive poster and whatever he's smoking, I want some of it ?

Joking aside, it adds a great perspective to the forum that we're not all negative and despairing. The only worry for Leeds is if one day, Opti comes on here and rants!

The positive of relegation is that the champo is just a more fun league. Even if we were one of the big four, I don't think it would be as enjoyable as the champ.

I feel for you OP, I agree with 90% of what you say and I’m the same regarding the positivity, always look for it and see it in the hard work behind the scenes. Your relentless positivity is a breath of fresh air on this site and I thumb up 90% of your comments so you know some1 agrees even if I can’t be bothered to mount the same responses you do against some the of the negative posts.

I read almost every day and skim posts that I know are just going to negative for the sake of it. 100% agree Atleast the disagreements now are purely football based and nothing personal nowadays.

MOT you surprise me the most, you was adamant in your support and now you’ve done a 100% U turn, maybe it’s because you see it differently now, clearly.

Aus I think is revelling in the attention he gets for being blunt and straight to the point but has gone too far and is potentially on the verge of becoming repetitive. But a very good active poster and is definitely needed around here. Even if it’s just to stir the pot ?

My preferred posts are definitely the positive ones,
Mainly from posters like OP, bright, Vid, Alf, was (MOT) , and many more I’m sure I’ve missed.

On a different note, bamford looks likely to sign for Coventry.

Vid positive. When you last read his posts love.
I don’t mind the criticism and will try not to be repetitive as long as no one mentions you know who.
Wow. Bamford for Coventry. Interesting. Do they need him being top of the table?
One final question.

Can anybody give me a positive they took from the Brighton game? A proper one. Not like no injuries. No red cards. A positive that will help going forward?

06 Nov 2025 16:06:37
The score wasn’t more than 3-0.
Let’s hope there’s a positive reaction against Forest.

06 Nov 2025 16:07:57
I can Aus, I came out 10 minutes before the end! ?.

All good LAD2 but I do understand the negativity from many posters. It’s not easy to find anything positive when you know your whole season is going to be a relegation battle.
For me I already accepted that notion before the season started so I can process everything with a lot less expectation. That certainly doesn’t mean I don’t want us to do well and I do want us to win in every game we play, whoever it is.

There won’t be any dramatic changes with Farke he doesn’t work like that, but do expect some tweaks here and there to get us in a better position.
He definitely needs to sort out a way to get DCL in the action, certainly concerning the supply that he isn’t getting, I would say that’s his main objective at this moment of time.
We need goals.

Cork I expected leeds to get relegated if we get relegated I don’t see how I can complain.

Any complaints are on the understanding we should be doing better. I don’t think we should be

I love to moan when we underachieve but sadly I don’t think we are under achieving so I will take it on the chin.

Love what you say OP, like you I'm an eternal optimist, and always look for the best in our team I fully expected this season to be a struggle and so it's proved to be. I still believe finishing 17th or above is not an unrealistic prospect, and then with more PSR headroom next season we can attract better quality new players.

Before then, there are some in the current squad we could reasonably consider selling in Jan to free up cash if the right player to improve the squad is available, and maybe we should look at any free agents out there too.
