Unfortunately Farke has poor form when working in the premiership. Add that to incomplete summer transfer operations and you get to where we are now. The players we brought in apart from the bargain basement strikers weren't that bad but we are woefully short on, primarily goal scorers and commanding/ creative midfielders, and given that level of under investment we were an accident waiting to happen.
Difficult to be too critical of Farke as whenever he has arrived in the Premiership he has never really had a board to back him with the investment needed. However, even that might be laid at his door for not being assertive enough. Is our poor displays due to poor coaching or simply lack of quality. Both?

Stop with this "he wasn't backed" malarkey.
He got his defensive and midfield options, all he didn't get is his RW and CF.
Yet we are -10 gd.
We don't get -10 gd with no attackers. Farke has failed with a team 2/ 3rds of his own making.
A lack of attacking options doesn't mean playing arronson every week.
Or bringing on harrison.
Or like for like subs
Or poor in game management.

If the 49ers are as toothless as DF and his team, I doubt we'll be welcoming a new manager with coaches at the Villa game.

I've made my feelings clear about Farke for a long time and the chickens are coming home to roost.
If we play villa with Farke as our manager, we are relegated.
