I wonder if Eddie Howe might be available soon?

Lol, I doubt it Bright and I very much doubt he would want to come to us anyway. The only positive I can find at the moment is that surely after last weekend DF and the players will be forced to have a good look in the mirror and at least attempt to turn the tide.

But if BA starts against Villa we will know DF is hankering for a holiday.

DF has gone back Germany. He will be back on Friday according to the internets.

I've resigned to the fact that he will be here until summer and we will be relegated.

If he’s here until the summer that surely would mean we have stayed up?

Sorry, Corkey, it means we will be going down with him.

Some fans want to be relegated with Farke because they see him as the best chance to return. Even though his success rate with Leeds is 50%.

I very much doubt any fan wants us to be relegated, irrespective of who's in the box seat!
What is it with all the crazy nonsense, outlandish, pie in the sky, unreal posts in here right now!
If someone has said "if we were to be relegated, then why not with Farke so he can bring us back up", ok, crazy, but some logic.

On the other hand "I want us to be relegated, and at least farke will bring us up". that's garbage talk, and not a single Leeds fan is saying it.

There no way that the club will hold onto Farke if we are falling away in the relegation zone.
The club will take on another coach so the thought of Farke continuing with us in the Championship if relegated is just not going to happen in any shape or form.

Bar a bizarre complete turnaround of our form and tactics, Farke I imagine will be sacked in the coming weeks. Our concern will be will be what half head would be mad enough to take the job on.
Oh there will be candidates but none of them will stir the slightest bit of hope in any Leeds fan.
As I’ve mentioned before, only something completely out of the blue might give a little twist of fate and surprise all of us.
But i wouldn’t be holding your breath.

{Ed025's Note - Leeds are still a bid draw imo OP and i think will attract managers of a high calibre mate, with FFP it wont be easy to just buy yourself out of trouble so it will be a difficult job for whoever takes over but yes it can be done, you proved against the likes of Everton that with fight, endeavour and organisation that results can be achieved but it will take everyone pulling in the same direction to stave off relegation, it may also take a change of manager who has been there and done it and as much as i feel sorry for DF the owners will pull the plug if things dont improve, you have a really tough run of games coming up though and cannot afford to drop like a stone so you have a massive few weeks coming up that will determine your season i feel..come on Leeds..

Ed, that depends on what you mean by high calibre? It’s a very muddy ground to try and work out what kind of manager and tactics to use to survive the first season up for a promoted team to the Premiership.

You’ve got certain managers who seem to have what it takes or a knack for that type of job and they are not available currently.
If there are any higher profile managers out there available, they might not want the likely prospect to collect a relegation tag on his CV and perhaps has never managed a team in a relegation battle in the Premiership.
Definitely there will be candidates but I feel it will be one whose got nothing to lose or one that is willing to risk his flagging reputation to become a hero.

I still believe we have a chance besides all the weight stacked against us that there is a possibility to stay up, but everything has to align perfectly and seamlessly and as you put it all the players singing from the same hymn sheet and has the same emotion and work rate as our CB Joe Rodon does.
Nothing is impossible, but they have to dig a lot deeper than they think they are doing right now.

Football does from time to time deliver surprise stories, it could be us but then again it might not be us.
As far as I’m concerned there are no titles or relegations sorted after 10 games into the season.

{Ed025's Note - i personally thought Sean Dyche would have been the sort of appointment that would work OP (but obviously that ship has sailed), but someone of that ilk who can get the best out of players without spending a fortune, it wont be very pretty of course but sometimes needs must mate..
