Agreed Georgey very SOFT cheese at that

Are you. wondering now why you were (the one) 'clamouring ' for JM to replace El Loco?

Time to get used to an away trip to Plymouth Argyle.

Baz He did keep us up last season and represented the quickest fix and least onerous transition from Bielsaball which incorporated murderball and incessant man marking through matches both of which were insane. Problem has been Marsch learning curve steep, he hasn't progressed despite receiving owner backing. He's out of his depth and doesn't know how to respond as halftime adjustments made by opposing manager. Loss of Rodrigo has exposed him. I agree with a post by Spaniard. It's premature for Corberan. Won't work with Baggies vying for promotion. We shouldn't be disturbing him. Invokes a bad karma.

Bielsa’s methods weren’t insane when he returned us to the epl after an absence of sixteen years, or ninth place with the same championship team playing exciting attacking football.

I don’t disagree that he was too stubborn in his ways and murderball took its toll, but we rode the biggest wave of our time supporting Leeds Utd (based on your respective ages) watching the best football I’ve seen from a Leeds team.

The woeful amount of goals conceded was probably the final nail for Bielsa but, we do not know (other than Jeff) if he was prevented from securing new recruits to have refreshed his squad

and we will never know if Bielsa could have done what JM did in keeping us up but I’m sick of people deriding his achievements, especially when he was dismissed with a better record at the time than JM holds.

It’s not FIFA 23 if it was, then Jesse would probably look a capable manager, the reality is many of us (age dependent) will see the like of Bielsa ball again.

And irrespective of the cheap shots aimed at Bielsa on here by the usual suspects, he is revered in Leeds at the club, in the city (can you imagine murals of JM) and when we do lose again very soon, the majority of the Leeds fan base will chant his name, helpful no.

But they pay their money travelling miles all hours all weathers and their views consistent with the majority of supporters who recognise what an absolute legend Bielsa was for us.

So enough with the cheap shots, you especially posted numerous time on here George, how Jesee was the right man! How he would kick us on this season, he’s had time and money.

Now you’re posting Yank Lampard, I’ll forever stand by Bielsa surely you should back your chosen man?

And for those people saying Corberan isn’t ready? Are you asking us to believe that JM would have secured similar/ better results at Huddersfield or WBA than Corberan?

I think it’s been a failed commercial political appointment and Marsch has been found out to be a complete failure.

It’s just the sheer amount of PR cowpooh has got him far longer than he ever deserved.

Bielsa and murderball got us promoted and made us successful George. It was the poor squad and poor, plus lack of, signings that put us in trouble last season and continues to see us in trouble this season. The points JM got last season would have been achieved with Bielsa had he continued as they were all winnable matches against teams around us (and tbf the players still played in Bielsa's style regardless of the fact he had left) . Now, we don't have a style, we don't have any edge and we are hopelessly lost after another misguided management appointment from Orta who only gets lucky around 10-15% of the time.
Christiansen and Hockaday both had better win percentages than Marsch and were both sacked.

Disturbing Corberan George?! What nonsense are you talking about. I haven’t heard one realistic replacement for JM mentioned on this forum yet.
It’s my opinion that if he were offered the job now, he’d definitely take it.

Good post Class, on Bielsa, he would be top of my list to replace JM but sadly I feel that ship has sailed over the horizon now. I just wish it would be Bielsa coming to the club for the first time, with the runners we have now it would be very exciting to see what he could do in the Prem.
