I’ve come of the fence on Victor previously, but let’s not feel sorry for Jesse having the targets he wanted, at his latest press conference he said….

Agree1 Disagree0

Class, do you think if we lose heavily tonight, then Jesse would fall on his own sword or just ignore the fans calls for his head?

Ignore.

Honestly Mezz I think Jesse will work his socks off for the team until he’s asked to leave. Think he’s a thoroughly honest man, do you recall when he was contacted to take over he told the board to give Bielsa the rest of the season as he thought Bielsa deserved it.

Honestly criticising Jesse is like hurting a puppy, a good bloke trying his absolute best. Sadly I think he’s well short of epl standard at this time, maybe he should have started in the championship.

It’s certainly not all his fault but I think for whatever reason, the team cannot take onto the pitch what Jesse is trying to instal.

It actually feels a kindness to let him go, if he does go he can always point to a real achievement in keeping us up.

BUT think it’s all irrelevant as think Radz will persevere with Jesse up until the World Cup break and possibly longer to allow for January window.

Hope I’m wrong as is often the case though Mezz.

If we Lose Heavily tonight! It will be at least 6-0 or more. IMO. I believe the assumed injuries most players have is a sign that they want a change. We will lose the next 3 games as well.

What Hooksie said .

thrashing tonight is a given for this broken club

Even in the R season of 1981/ 82 one always felt Leeds could even would stay up; it was a devastating shock when R happened

In the R season of 2003/ 2004 R sadly felt likely from fairly early on but there always remained some hope as Leeds still had tbe potent goalscorer Mark Viduka, sadly it still wasnt to be.

This current season though. sigh . shrug. somethings need to change radically.
But will they?

Leeds will probably surprise us all tonight v Liverpool and grab a point, then Bournemouth will spank us at home (Elland Road is currently a toxic place and cause unease among the team)
The Spurs game will be the decision making game (similar to last season with Bielsa)
Leeds United definitely need a change, to get the team playing as a team and start clawing some points back to help climb away from that trap door.
