Looking at the points required to get promoted based on history, we need anything between 90 and 100 as champions. So here's a little prediction game for those willing to play.
With 16 games left i predict 8 wins 4 draws and 4 losses giving us 85 points, based on our current form of course, so i think it's squeaky bum time unless the average comes down.

Your thoughts lads and lasses.

I think your probably about Cock on Dougie.

Based on the competitiveness of this league this season, I feel that 85 points may be enough for automatic.

We picked one of the most competitive years to come good! (only Leeds) . As there is no runaway team as in past years then, as in past years we are looking for consistency which equals a good run but hoping/ praying that our competition start sliding. I still believe that will not happen and it could go down to the last kick of the match. Not even our match, it could be out of our hands. I did notice that most of the teams that squeezed in on a lowish points total did not stay in the Prem very long.

10 wins, 5 draws, BRING ON THE CHAMPIONS 😎.

I agree Leo this is a very competitive league this year, Would we have taken playoffs at the start? I would, but now i want automatic, but extremely worried about our form at present the WBA and Midd will be defining i think!

Who around us can do better?

Aus - Brom.

Canaries font look like losing, Blades won't go away.

I said early doors that the month of February would define our season. Currently it's on a knife edge and any two from five (plus one ousider) can grab the top spot. As yet no one has put a chokehold on auto prom and I expect the lead to change a few more times before May.

I may be wrong but I think we have had over 50% possession every game but 1. I think we just need to be more clinical in front of goal. Enter Bamford and Brown. They are or maybe have to be the 2 players we wanted to sign in January. A striker and a no10/ winger. There you have it. They deliver - auto. They add nothing - playoffs.

Good point Animal, and I think that they'll deliver. Norwich will lose at least another 5 games, WBA very inconsistent, Blunts are win or lose, not enough draws, Boro don't score enough, Bristol probably the ones to watch along with Hull, Fat Frank Lampard's Dirty County will be amongst the also-rans.

08 Feb 2019 11:44:09
Agree with all of that except Norwich bit. They will be with us to the wire with WBA challenging them or us for second. Think Blunts will drop points this month and always fancied Hull to be in play offs. Derby will finish 9th or 10th, Bristol deserve to be in top six play good football and never give up.

Maybe losing 5 was a bit much but they are due to lose some, lost one in the last 16, 17 (a fluke according to Krul) so, hopefully they're ready to have a bit of a wobble (starting this weekend)
