Completely porous at the back, no body picking up runners, just looking in shock when the ball is in the back of the net . JM out of his depth, subs all wrong . But we are getting goals that's the only good thing .

80mins 3-2 up CA against Spurs, think it's a bit unfair to say he's completely out of his depth .
Give him the 2 players he desperately needs and we might get full picture, we are bare as a full effective squad and we all know who is to blame for that.

Playing narrow at the back, every game we are exposed with wide playing teams. Both fullbacks are pulled into a narrow center, and it's just a matter of time until their wide players get the right cross in . plus although it worked for 5 minutes last week, Ayling in the center at the back is just a BAD move. And he didn't own up to his mistake and blames it on individual loss of concentration . Given that he's NOT going to get the quality in January, he has to manage with what he has and in that sense he's out of his depth.

Agreed Chris, yes we can question Jesse on his tactical moves at times but fact is that this squad is not anywhere near good enough on the whole.
The defence and defenders are rubbish.
IMO we need 2 cb’s and left back plus a genuine no9 in January. Utilise the loans, sell Harrison to generate some funds, loan out Bamford. Sell llorente
I’d even play struijk and Leo at cb with a proper left back and Rasmus on the right.
And get a good defence coach in the coaching set up because this lot need serious work.
Never mind rest over the wc they need to be drilled on how to defend.
