The annual accounts release shows that we have flown much closer to the sun than the club initially let on, with a £47m gap to bridge over the PSR threshold. The summer sales were much more essential than first thought by everyone, and the limited spending now more understandable. It's reportedly down to some accounting wizardry to cover the shortfall which will see us in the the clear with the EFL. Biggest issue? All those loans without sales of players!

I read that Brighty mate and yes you are right, we were sailing close to the wind! I think the losses may also be to do with losing the court case against that player and then there was a final payment to Radz, and like you said the awful loan deals that we are still been held by. On the other side it’s good to know we are getting straight with everything, JH and Ras will hopefully be gone this summer for good which should bring in £25M plus, so that should go towards transfer spends. Fingers crossed we get in the prem which then means we are going to have to spend big, so all money brought in from the sale of those two plus others from the first team should go a long way to covering our outlay. All good though going forward I think ????.

Woody, Jack Harrison will hopefully be sold and should never be allowed back into Elland Road while ever he is sporting that ridiculous top knot hairdo. He looks like a poor mans Ayling.

Yeah that was the prognosis I took away too woody. That final step to the PL will play a massive part obviously, but the shackles should be loosened somewhat going forward.

Brilliant chat MG, poor man’s Luke Ayling, love it! ??.

Wish you hadn't written that last sentence Brighty re loans of players with no sales.
The ghost of Uncle Victor coming back to haunt my memories once again!

Can't see Everton signing JH. They hate him. And he is still contracted to us.

JH has had a bad season at Everton and on a humungous £90K a week ; not sure any club will be looking to sign him permenantly or even on loan.

Our current owners Mr Marathe and Co, who were joint owners of relegated Leeds in 2023 ; and were likely present and fully aware of R loan clauses
are also looking a tad chaotic in the boardroom and recruitment with Kinnear and Hammond soon going and Miles and Steinson already gone
and with Marathe and co currently sleepwalking into a second season of potential non promotion ; those accounts would make a next season AGAIN in the Champo a brutal financial affair.

They were on the board yes, but I doubt they could call the shots, or veto the contracts being handed out, Baz. I don’t think you can hold this one against them, just good old Vic and Radz.

Harrison is done at Leeds for me. He got his move to Everton, but showed no respect to Leeds with some of his comments since.

Hi Eds just wanted to highlight that our excellent and long standing poster MG (Midfield General) is currently not on “approved Live Users list”.
Not sure if MG is an avid ‘Live’ user but I’m sure he’s very welcome by all.
{Ed033's Note - i think MG doesn't go on Leeds Live chat.

Yep can concur MG doesn't use Livechat.

Think JH only option will be back to USA, or Saudi….? No doubt it’s a scenario where we will end up paying some of his salary for the remainder of his contract tho! ?.

Apologies guys, I have previously looked for the chat room but didn’t know where it was (it is probably right in front of me! ). Technology alludes me. Would appreciate the opportunity to join the chat when not able to get a ticket.
