I thought we played very well in the second half and deserved a point out of the game.
Considering we gave them a free goal with Bijol’s inexplicable penalty, Cole Palmers Ronnie Rosenthals type of miss in front of an open goal does happen in football.
Bijol’s did make up for his error with some excellent defending after and defending is what we were going to have to do against this very young talented Chelsea side.
I think their naivety with their lack of experience in their team helped us to claw this game back to a draw, along with our relentless determination to work very hard and never give up.
A lot of posts claiming we played very poor and were lucky is not how i analyzed this game. Even with injuries or absence by key players like DSL, Stach and Struijk we can still find a way to force a result against a billion pond team.
Well done Farke and his players in working very hard to get this result, credit to them ??.

Good post OP in particular, the billion dollar bit, puts some perspective into last nights excellent fighting performance and for me, fully deserved point.
It’s the equivalent of racing a Bentley in F1 both are presumably at the prestige end of the market, but in truth there’s no comparison, and in reality we shouldn’t be able to compete as we have.
I’m sure Chelsea feeder club Strasbourg are much closer to us in terms of finances, so a great point, now got to go as I’m of to get a picture of Sesko tattooed where it doesn’t show, how important was that last minute equaliser!

It’s funny Class but there’s quite a number of pundits and football journo’s who think we are already clear of relegation!?
It could be one of the biggest fight out in the history of the Premiership with possibly five teams competing against each other to avoid the drop.
Could be literally down to goal difference for several teams on the last day of the season in my estimation, I think we will be in that mix.
Its definitely going to be a white knuckle ride.

Totally agree OP, although very encouraged by the resilience and fight in the squad just now there’s no easy fixture in this league and you’re facing teams also fighting for premier league survival.
