Boycott ER?

I believe it was Stanners that asked the question, "Should we boycott the home games" it wasn't a question coming as an idea from himself, it was a question to find out what people's thoughts were before the Brighton game and with the lack of player signings. Obviously time has moved on from then and Leeds United for the time being is a happier place. I think my initial comment was "Support the bloody team"
There had been some stirrers on social network websites trying to get people involved in boycotting the games, are these the same people that haven't been to Elland Road since the Premier League days or the one's that would struggle to find ER if you gave them a free match ticket!
Yes times have been hard (ups and downs) but unless circumstances prevent you from going to the games ie, finances, kids, work, illness etc etc, then if you are in a position to and love the Club I would suggest that you support them in anyway you can. There is no Billionaire waiting to throw money at the Club and the fair play rules would prevent that anyway. What we do have is GFH-C that are steadying the ship and moving in the right direction, but these things take time. You could say that a certain individual saved the Club, but at the same time put us back many years! GFH-C now have a lot of work to do just to get things going in the right direction and that involves everybody pushing in the same way.
Many changes have already happened, cheaper tickets, players released, interaction by means of Official social networking, events being held that the owners turn up for etc etc. It is frustrating that only 3 players have been signed, but 3 players that will make the squad better. The problem is Leeds United has too many players of the same position on long contracts that no other Club wants! To release these from their contracts would cost a lot of money.
So, the only way other than deep pockets from our Chairman/Owners to bring other players in and keep ER rocking like it was for the Brighton game is to turn up in numbers. Bigger gate receipts will give a bigger budget for players. Lets not forget Brian has spent money on the training ground so I imagine the pot is at a low.
Boycott ER? I cannot prevent it, but most people can see things are getting better and the fans can really help this squad of players by attending the games when they can. I have said it many times before, there are so many fans that would do almost anything to attend the games, but can't for various reasons. Lets ignore any future trouble causers trying to jump on a Boycott Bandwagon and support the team.

We'll said ed, I threw the question out there originally because a un-named person on banter page said it was what to do for the good of the club which I disagreed with! {Thanks buddy, times are changing and everyone should be Marching On Together now}
