It's all about today chaps, gutted I couldn't get my hands on ticket but this is life. I hope Bogle is fit as Rodon looked way off the pace the other night. I have a sneaky suspicion Stach is going to be involved, maybe wishful thinking but really think we could do with him even just for his free kicks alone.
Just really hope we should up and give a good account of ourselves. I haven't looked for to a match like this in a long time ๐.

Think, based on Tanaka's form, I'd prefer to leave him in over a potentially below-par Stach. Rodon was poor when coming on, and that's what I'd fear from Stach.
Unless Rodon has been exceptional in training, I think I'd leave him out too. Some believe Struijk had his best game recently, and Jaka is currently in good form. We offer more attacking threat when Bogle plays RWB over Justin, but for me Justin plays over Bogle, meaning I'd stick with the same back 5 and leave Rodon out (who usually is our best defender) .
Perri in goal.
DCL up top, with Okafor and BA off him.
Not today, but I'd ideally like to see Tanaka replace BA in that engine room, as I don't think Stach is fit enough for it. It leaves room for Amps and Stach to play behind.
26 Apr 2026 11:10:45
Bogle was shocking other day, lads. ๐ค๐๐
26 Apr 2026 11:14:58
Tanaka has been excellent the last few games, but his dead-ball deliveries have been poor. I just think if Stach is anyway fit, it is worth a gamble for dead-ball deliveries alone. Rodon, if fully fit, would be my first on the team sheet, but he looked slow and rusty the last game.
Struijk has been immense lately. I know a few on here can't stand him, but he has been more than dependable of late.
Whoever Farke picks will hopefully just give it their all, that's all we can really ask for.
26 Apr 2026 11:36:43
Definitely start the same outfield players .. Rodon and Stach on the bench.
26 Apr 2026 06:23:59
Big day today. Hope everyone going enjoys it regardless the result but of course I am hoping we get a result and go marching on. Mostly just hope our performance does us justice.

Well said Alf, I'm feeling so confident, and to all those who know my prediction track record, I can only apologise, but to everyone, have a brilliant day. Who knows when this occasion will come around again, so enjoy every moment.
26 Apr 2026 10:49:22
Lol, Class! Agreed, both. For those there, hope you have a great day irrespective of outcome, and for the rest of us plebs, let's just make the best of it too! MOT!
26 Apr 2026 11:39:42
Yep, defo come what may, enjoyyy the experience... It's been far, far too long since Leeds United experienced genuine FA Cup excitement.
Confident of a Leeds United win.
26 Apr 2026 02:30:58
It seems optimism doesn't suit me. Predicting Wolves and Everton wins. Not happy. Getting nervous again. Spam seem to have the harder games though.

To all the lads that have been good posters on here like Bright, Class, Vid, JR, LAD, ANI and several others, I've enjoyed the football banter, it's been great to share and discuss on here.
It's time for me to end my posts on here, it's not for me anymore.
Enjoy the game tomorrow, you're going to love it.

If that's how you feel, then that's what you must do. My view is that forums like this one work better if there are alternate viewpoints to consider. Sometimes I might agree with one, sometimes another, sometimes with nobody, but that's just how it is, and I'm quite unconcerned if nobody shares my opinion.
Enjoy tomorrow's game and the next 4 (5?) this season. Keep logging in and reading what we all have to say, and I'll wager you'll be tempted to join in again.
26 Apr 2026 06:20:50
Take care OP.
26 Apr 2026 07:50:40
A sad departure. All the best, buddy! ๐๐ผ
26 Apr 2026 07:52:50
Sorry to see you go, OP. Always enjoyed your balanced and fair posts. Shame some enjoy jumping on anything you said. Take care, mate.
26 Apr 2026 08:53:36
Sorry to see you go OP
I've always enjoyed your reasoned, mainly optimistic posts. I also understand why you would want to give it a rest. There is a difference between banter and petty insults.
Enjoy today and the rest of the season.
26 Apr 2026 09:04:29
A shame. Adios amigo, MOT.
26 Apr 2026 09:31:03
Genuinely sorry to read that, OP. Definitely a stalwart of the forum. We have certainly had differing opinions in the past (Mess and Farkey) , but you were always fair and balanced in my opinion. You were certainly correct on Farke when I had remained negative and reticent.
As JR posted above, why not take some time out and reconsider when you feel the time is right? I certainly enjoy the banter, the challenges, and, in my own experience, it was Chris that opened my eyes on Orta, and it was you who gave me much needed perspective on Farke.
Site needs people like you, OP, so please reconsider, and if this is goodbye then thanks again for your contributions.
{Ed025's Note - thats a shame really if he does stop posting CO92, he has been one of the best posters on this page for a long time and is always respectful and puts his points across well, hopefully he will just take a bit of time out (which is not a bad thing) and comes back as strong as ever mate..
26 Apr 2026 09:48:34
Shame, OP, but I can understand why. MOT.
26 Apr 2026 10:05:11
I'll miss your positivity. Site will become a little too negative if you aren't around to try to balance it back out.
26 Apr 2026 09:45:47
Really hope so Ed, think we've all considered breaks previously but it's a better site with OP.
{Ed025's Note - absolutely CO92, he was the voice of reason when loads of the supporters wanted to bin DF early on in the season mate, listen we all get fed up at times and having a break is a good idea...i just hope he comes back..
26 Apr 2026 10:20:31
OP listen to Ed25 mate as what he says is true.
You will be sorely missed.
25 Apr 2026 22:34:46
Cliche alertโฆ. Each game as it comes, one game at a time.
Feeling genuinely confident for tomorrow, Pedro is a good player but struggling to be fit, saw amazing stat that Chelsea have been outrun (outworked) by nearly every opponent, well theyโve drawn the wrong team to play in terms of work and togetherness.
Mot to Wembley.

25 Apr 2026 22:58:32
Good post, Class.
Leeds United will beat Chelsea at Wembley tomorrow.. Tanaka and Ba will have very influential performances.
Let's do it!
26 Apr 2026 02:24:26
The only fly in the ointment is the potential fixture congestion if we win tomorrow. The FA Cup final is set for May 16th, and, as we're scheduled to play Brighton on the 17th, that'd have to be rearranged. But the season end is fixed for May 24th, so it would need to be pushed in somewhere.
26 Apr 2026 08:07:21
Very valid, and possibly concerning points, JR.
26 Apr 2026 10:07:26
I'd like to think we are safe, so hopefully fixture congestion won't affect us too much.
If it does, and we ain't safe, I'd still like us to win the cup, even if possibly being relegated.
Don't believe for one minute we will be relegated, though, and I understand the league takes priority, but there is no reason we can't have both.
26 Apr 2026 11:15:38
Into the FA Cup final versus 3 points against Burnley and PL safety, can we have both? I want to believe we can, but put me on the spot and ask me to choose, and I'd probably opt for the latter. I'm not going to predict the result today, cos I always get it wrong. UTWDTP.
25 Apr 2026 19:53:56
Thought Southampton were incredibly resilient, their fans should be very proud of them.
I'm almost certain they will be promoted this season whether that's automatic or by play offs.
Their coach has been nothing short of sensational in what he has achieved since he arrived at their club.
Impressive.

26 Apr 2026 01:53:23
If they're not promoted, that lad Scienza looks quite tasty, and should be on our shopping list. Good to see Azaz score too. I thought he looked promising last season at Boro.
25 Apr 2026 19:38:39
I do not like our "competitors" getting wins, whether deserved or not.
It is, however, a timely wake up call to all of those who think we are clear. As a glass half empty man, I will only be happy when we are, mathematically, safe. To keep it in our own hands we need 46 points, but we are Leeds, so if we do it, it will be the hard way.
I am still full of confidence in the lads but (glass half empty) I do not want to be the team that wins the FA Cup and gets relegated same season!

26 Apr 2026 07:53:20
While less frequent than they used to be, Leodis, your posts are always pretty much spot on, fella!
25 Apr 2026 18:03:34
Jeez, come on guys, we have 40 points and 4 games to go. On a roll and unbeaten in 7 with an opportunity to win the FA Cup. It's all good. Our destiny is in our hands. We can do nothing about other results and desperately hoping others lose is totally pointless. Believe people, our team does.

25 Apr 2026 18:44:38
Cmon Vid, don't tell me you wouldn't have been delighted if Spurs n Hammers lost today?
It's all very well saying it's in our hands, but life, unfortunately, rarely works out that way.
I wonder, do DF and the players know today's results? God damn right they do!
25 Apr 2026 18:47:27
Totally agree with Vid. There were bound to be twists and turns at the end of the season, and likely that other teams hit a bit of form. However, we've been on a good run over the last month or so as well, so, looking at the league standings at the moment, and the last four fixtures for the four in the zone, I know who'd I like to be.
It's a team in white. I think Forest are too strong to go down, and now Wood is back, they should have enough to stay up. As Vid said, "Our destiny is on our hands." West Ham and Spurs can scrap it out between them.
25 Apr 2026 19:17:34
Don't like Saints, but felt a tad for them in their spirited defeat to Citeh.
West Ham winning.. Spuds winning.
Not a good day of results.
25 Apr 2026 19:22:35
The thing is, Davey, those uber annoying, from a Leeds perspective, wins for West Ham and Spuds have considerably ramped up pressure on Leeds for the next match vs Burnley.
It's an absolute must win game for Leeds United!
25 Apr 2026 19:25:29
Baz, fear taints and destroys, we have nothing to fear but fear itself.
25 Apr 2026 19:46:06
Not getting involved with these hyper panic posts. No, it's not over yet, but I'd rather be us than Spurs or West Ham.
For fans who believe in the Leedsy nonsense, that is exactly what needs to be eradicated from the mentality of some fans of Leeds Utd.
It does nothing for our club, and only serves to wind up other fans.
I don't understand why any fan would want to invite failure?
25 Apr 2026 20:04:18
OP, I don't think any of us would invite failure (my X discluded) . This is banter, and some of us are just a bit nervous. Yes, it's in our hands, so a nice thumping of the Clarets would set us all at ease.
25 Apr 2026 20:14:15
1000% CA.
25 Apr 2026 20:47:24
CA, for me, it's not just nervous banter, it's being a WUM.
I think any reasonable Leeds United fan could already see, after our last result, another three points would seal our safety.
So, for some on this forum to now bleat out, those who think we are already safe, think again!
That's just plain and simple winding up other fans, and it's not necessary.
If that's all that can be contributed on this forum right now, then I find it not only annoying but very sad.
As I already said, I'm not joining in with this BS.
{Ed001's Note - then stop whining and scroll past. Stop trying to tell everyone how to think and what to post.}
25 Apr 2026 22:12:14
Well said Ed!
Opti is a proper Karen!
26 Apr 2026 02:12:05
I look at it this way.
1. Spuds managed a shady 1:0 against a team we put 3 past last week, and will find it hard to get 6+ points from their remaining games.
2. Sham are very likely to lose to Arsenal, and would need to win 2 of their other 3 remaining games to get to where we are.
I don't say we're safe yet, but I'd rather be where we are.
26 Apr 2026 08:00:18
I for one see OP's pov, and empathise with it. If he's a Karen, then it's right and fair for others to be labelled as wums too.
However, there is one simple fact here, and that is that we were never out of the mix, as we still have to play Spuds and Spam anyway.
It does, as Baz said, ramp up the importance of our little match vs Burnley which could make those games dead rubbers!
26 Apr 2026 08:12:32
Ed001 100%agree
25 Apr 2026 17:26:43
Disappointed that both Hammers and Spurs won today but they were absolutely must win matches for them (Everton at home and Wolves away are the games you need to win) .
Our must win is next Friday against Burnley - win that and one of them might catch us but not both.
Even if we come away with nothing against Burnley, our destiny will still be in our own hands as we've still got to play both Spurs and the Hammers.
Listening to the Spurs game on the radio today - loads of effort but zero quality.
We'll be okay guys (and we are going to Wembley twice this season!) .
