What has happened to Tanaka? He was woeful as was Gnonto, Buonette and Longstaff.

15 Feb 2026 16:42:22
Corky said the same about Tanaka and Gnonto the loanee Facundo was shocking!
15 Feb 2026 21:01:00
Not enough game time, Gnonto, AO and Long staff playing out of position.
Defensive orders when they're all attacking players.
15 Feb 2026 14:47:32
A win is a win.

Well played the Cat, lots of relief after that especially for Vid I’m sure.
15 Feb 2026 15:22:15
A great win, no Cup game is a walk in the park.
Understand that.
15 Feb 2026 15:38:32
Absolutely CJ. Under the cosh for a lot of that game, which is hardly surprising as it's a massive game for the Blues.
Nice to be in the draw for the next round and hopefully everyone has come through it unscathed.
Back in Birmingham next weekend - now that's the one to get a positive result from!
15 Feb 2026 16:14:29
A win against Birmingham in my house is quiet all around.
15 Feb 2026 17:14:14
CJS you are completely right football is funny old game .
16 Feb 2026 08:50:38
Enjoy mezzer.
Let’s hope we beat gunners one day so I can invite my dad out for a beer instead of hiding behind the curtains.
15 Feb 2026 13:35:24
Tommy Doyle has been very impressive for Birmingham. Stansfield decent as well.

15 Feb 2026 15:33:58
Was thinking the same. He was excellent as was the big CB.
15 Feb 2026 15:39:39
Isn't the grandson of Mick Doyle of Man City? Decent player wherever he's played in his short (ish) career.
16 Feb 2026 00:22:25
Doyle went on loan Cleggy from Man City to Sheffield United a couple of seasons ago, and was outstanding as they got promoted and reached an FA Cup Semi Final.
15 Feb 2026 13:27:14
Great strike by Nmencha, but we have really been under the cosh. Need a second goal. Buonanotte looked very lightweight. Right decision to hook him at HT.

15 Feb 2026 13:58:35
buanotte looked brutal, no wonder he's not playing in the real games.
15 Feb 2026 12:52:30
Looks like DF looking to push Piroe out of the club?
Quite strange he’s not starting today.

An excellent, and interesting, yet fairly strong line up from Farke in the end! That MF has the potential to be very effective! We shall see!

15 Feb 2026 12:09:04
Strong line up but would have liked Byram and Piroe to get a start and assume DJ has some sort of niggle. Just hope Nmecha and Okafor come through without any issues.
15 Feb 2026 14:11:28
Not so strong after and we have shown little quality and sent Buonanotte back what rubbish we loaned there.
15 Feb 2026 09:44:39
I imagine we make some changes today
I’d like to see some starts for Byram, Gnonto, Dan James, Piroe, Longstaff, tanaka, I’d love to see harry gray get some minutes.

15 Feb 2026 10:44:16
Harry Gray definately won't play as he's on loan MW.
15 Feb 2026 11:20:21
And doing very, very well at Rotherham too! Fans saying he stands out from everyone in the squad in terms of quality on the ball, and movement! Great experience for him!
15 Feb 2026 11:49:12
Bloody heck of course he is
I’m being stupid lol.
13 Feb 2026 22:31:33
Load of coaches getting sacked. I’ll put a stake in the ground. I love Farke. I want us to stick with him for the long term. But if we don’t? IRaola or glasner for me.

14 Feb 2026 05:30:40
As I’ve said before. If we survive then he will deserve a crack next season. But let’s not forget. Next season is about 6-12 not below. So will have to hit the ground running and buy wisely and improve our away form. First up if we stay up is the important positions to improve.
14 Feb 2026 11:23:43
It's about survival for 3 years Aus as until then we can't spend as much as long term EPL teams.
14 Feb 2026 13:33:50
I’d love Iraola if it came down to it.
Let’s see where Farke takes us this season first though.
15 Feb 2026 01:34:56
When we won the Championship and gained promotion under Farke most of us agreed that he'd earned the chance to. manage us in the PL, though surprisingly evem then, some were calling for his dismissal. By the same logic, I would argue that if he keeps us in the PL this year he would deserve to stay for next season.
I think it's unreasonable to set arbitrary targets for the next few seasons, because much will depend on our ability to attract players of the calibre necessary to start climbing the league. As long as the good ship LUFC is moving forwards the captain should stay in post.
15 Feb 2026 08:26:51
Disagree Canada. I and I’m pretty sure the owners will want improvement year in year out. So that Dosent mean another relegation battle. We survive we have to do one better which means above whatever and however many are in the drop zone. Generally about 12th from the get go.
15 Feb 2026 09:05:14
It’s not unreasonable to set improvement targets jr. pretty sure owners expect improvement although they have to aid that with the purchasers. Think we get about 125 mill for finishing about 16 ish. That’s enough for a gk, cb, lb and winger. Sell piroe, gnonto, Perri and that’s enough for a striker.
15 Feb 2026 10:03:47
I agree that targets should be set Aus, it's a common business practice. I also don't disagree with the 6-12 level you suggested, I just take issue with the words "not below". 8th would be good, 12th would be OK, but 13th or 14th would not be terrible.
I would not to finish as high as 6th at this juncture, because that would mean Europa league qualification for which I do not think we would be ready, see the impact that has had on Forest and Palace this season.
15 Feb 2026 21:29:14
It’s so easy to sit in one’s armchair a organize our club’s finances.
13 Feb 2026 19:42:16
Who would you like to see go down out of West Ham, Spurs, Palace and Forest, and why?
West Ham goes down we can laugh at Summerville.
Forest go down we can laugh at the manager.
Palace go down we can laugh at JSL
Spurs go down we can buy back Archie.

13 Feb 2026 20:21:12
Forest, owner doesn't deserve to be in top league.
13 Feb 2026 21:49:47
Spuds because they think they are a big team. No chance. I have no axe to grind with Archie or Cree who both tried their hardest and performed well for Leeds while here and left for good logical reasons. Can’t hate them trying to progress their own personal careers.
13 Feb 2026 23:05:25
Don't care as long it's one of them .
But West Ham so we can laugh at CS
Palace we can laugh at JSL
Spuds we can just laugh, how the mighty have fallen.
13 Feb 2026 23:35:44
Spurs for me cause they think they big 6 club. Them days are gone. Nothing against Cree or Archie either. They would both stay with clubs and fight for promotion. Doubt they have relegation clauses. And most likely bounce straight back.
13 Feb 2026 23:48:50
I agree with Matt, Spurs for me. Always think they are one of the big 6, why? plus they scraped us for our best players when we were in financial trouble.
14 Feb 2026 02:16:48
That's a difficult question. I don't dislilke Forest, even though the owner is a tosser, and think ⅘Palace were very badly treated by UEFA over their Europa league qualification, so that just leaves two. Both of them have the arrogant belief that they are "big teams" who shouldn't have to suffer the indignity of, having to play in the Championship, and there are too many London teams in the PL, so I don't mind if either of them have to face the drop.
I read recently that Spuds players don't have relegation pay cut clauses in their contracts, so if they go down they have to continue getting paid the same as now, which could financially cripple them. 😂😂😂.
15 Feb 2026 07:53:23
I don't have any issues with Cree, and didn't like the way he was treated by some fans when we played them. Nor JSL. He didn't do owt to pee us off. But definitely anti London, so one of that mob best imo.
15 Feb 2026 07:58:51
Wet Spam, Spuds or Palace. Too many London clubs in the Prem as it is.
13 Feb 2026 18:49:18
Changing coach in February statistically if you are in or around the relegation zone clearly shows you will be relegated.
Forest and Spuds are deep in it and either one are very likely to go down in my opinion.

14 Feb 2026 07:47:30
They've both given the spammers a get out of jail free card. I agree. Spuds less likely imo with their Tudor appointment.
14 Feb 2026 09:30:02
Anyone but us, but my brother supports Spuds so that would be a fun scenario.
15 Feb 2026 01:47:18
Brighton are not yet safe either. Their record for their last 5 games is W0, D1, L4 whereas for comparison ours is W2, D2, L1.
