Yes. Forshaw was almost timed to perfection. They was on top for a good 10-15 mins in the 2nd half and bringing forshaw on helped steady it.

Can I just say how awesome Klich was when he came on. Still not a starter for me but looked a man reborn full of energy and a broken field really plays to his talents of finding pockets of space and slipping through killer balls. Chapeau Klich.

I’m with Richie and Bright. If you want to say he is not suitable because he is injury prone that is one thing but to say he is defensively gash because he is jnjury prone is nonsense. I actually thought in a one on one situation he was very good defensively last year - he was just (as mentioned) caught out of position A LOT! How much if this was down to state if okay, demands full backcharge forwards regardless, weakness of CDM ( particularly without Kal but even with he was over run) . I agree with Aus, good player in there; albeit can’t legislate for injuries. So solid left back required (could maybe rely on hjelde/ struik not convinced by Davis)

Matt . he is defensively gash because he can't defend. period. the injury record is an extra issue.

Based on last season alone he was gash.
He got beat so easily he was picking up cards in most games from holding on.
But Bielsa's team never focused on defense, also think about Barca, they probably have the ball in the opposition half for 70-80 mins a game.
We will see if Marsch can improve that, hopefully.

I still cannot rationalise Gnonto for £4m. It makes no sense. He looks wonderful but really? Why would Zurich let him go for £3.8m. Youngest ever goal scorer for Italy, super fast, quality touch, very strong but has the ayling flop off to a tea.

Didn’t see the game so maybe I don’t have a right to comment, but I think getting Cooper back in for Llorente will bring leadership organisation and somebody who won’t get bullied and that might make a big difference without needing to disrupt the system so much.
