Okafor out two-four weeks but Struick and Stach back in training, not ideal but given our next two games probably the right way around.

Appreciate stats aren't for everyone, but Leeds United only second to Citeh in terms of distance run in the epl, impressive and I wouldn't be shocked to see us spring a surprise against Villa.

20 Feb 2026 13:02:42
Okafor has put in some decent performances recently, and has been an asset to the team. I didn't realize how fast he is, also. The simple thing is, we adapt. With Stach and Struijk back, it will reinforce the squad.

For me, every game is difficult in the Premiership, whether that's Man City or Wolves. We can match any team in this league, as far as I'm concerned, on our day. All except Arsenal.

3

20 Feb 2026 13:28:02
We can match any team, Opti? I presume you are talking about home, although that is debatable. By my understanding, we have lost to 8 other teams other than my dad's Gooners. Explain, please? We are near the bottom of the table because?

2

20 Feb 2026 13:52:41
Away recently, we have matched Brentford, Sunderland, Everton, Liverpool and Chelsea. You can ignore it if you want, but the results are there. By matching, I'm saying we equaled our opponents. I'm not mentioning home games. We've only lost one away game since November. I'd say that's pretty consistent.

4

20 Feb 2026 14:29:10
Would have to agree wiv OP there, Aus, when you take into account the teams that he mentions, and consider Brentford and Sunderland have amongst the best home records in the league. We also matched Pool away, and you could argue Newcastle too. We battered Sunderland and should have won.

Also, it's quite correct that only Arsenal have completely turned us over. As I said a little while ago, I am as optimistic about the next couple of games as I am about all our remaining ones, the provisio being, of course, that we can maintain our levels of performance.

Just reading sky bet odds for this weekend. Got us winning 1-2. Be over the moon with that.
For you betting guys. If you scroll down it's got odds of 25-1 for Larsen to score and be booked. Might be worth a punt.

Ignore posters! Wow! Don't wear that button out fellaaaaas!. 🤣

4

18 Feb 2026 12:31:46
I never understood the ignore function on websites. If you can't scroll past text on a screen without a negative reaction or emotion, please take a step back and introspect. Those are signs of an unhealthy addiction or obsession. Stay safe and healthy, Leeds fans.

1

18 Feb 2026 13:04:20
I am so lost. Can't I just still reply and ignore the flack? Don't care about popularity.

3

https://talksense.uk/uploads/thumb_83465ef516bbaf3fc5d18c1981c94341.jpeg avatar{Ed033's Note - Posters don't have to use the ignore function, it's only for posters who get triggered. Posters do use it on other sites.

2

18 Feb 2026 13:23:25
Out of interest, what happens when one hits 'ignore'? Can we no longer see certain posts? Does the ignored know they are being ignored?

1

18 Feb 2026 13:29:47
Ed, is there scope for regulating one like per post, think there’s deliberate abuse on this forum to possibly make another posters post’s to unfairly look stupid or insignificant.
It’s just another way to put a thumbs down.

Don’t really know what likes positively contributes.
Unless you can make money out of it like YouTube then I don’t see the point ?

2

https://talksense.uk/uploads/thumb_83465ef516bbaf3fc5d18c1981c94341.jpeg avatar{Ed033's Note - Have you tried the like button? It 'greys out' after 1 click to attempt to stop more than 1 like per post/reply.

To answer alftupper; what happens if you add a username to the ignore textbox is that istead of seeing that poster's post or reply you see the words, "[poster]'s text hidden." and the poster has no idea they've been 'ignored' by another poster. On other sites only a couple of posters use the function.

I like the new layout/graphics, Ed. Very nice design choices.

Ed, unless that has changed just recently, became a short time ago I tried it to satisfy my curiosity and I managed to add 5 or 6 likes to my post successfully.
They were definitely mine because I made a, let's say an unpopular post, some might say that all my posts are unpopular 😂

18 Feb 2026 19:40:01
OP, why on earth are you doing stuff like that? Honestly, mate, take a chill pill. It's bonkers.

18 Feb 2026 19:44:37
Ed,

Would it be possible to make the number next to the 'thumbs up' box a little bigger?

My OCD thanks you.

18 Feb 2026 22:10:29
Whatever, Vid, don't know why you should be so concerned? I don't need chill pills, mate, I'm naturally laid back. 😎

2

18 Feb 2026 23:37:37
Cheers, Ed.

2

19 Feb 2026 08:08:15
Vid, "some people" - past and present (NOT OP) - clearly took a liking to giving thumbs up multiple times on posts they agreed with, while others obviously did it to their own posts.

I'm glad OP asked the question, and it's great that the guys running the site have put a stop to it! Eds / development people; nice work on the site! It's really become quite posh now, innit! Almost too refined for a scrubber like me!

19 Feb 2026 08:43:06
Couldn't agree more, Bright. Some good and up to date additions to this site. Looking very professional. 👌

2

19 Feb 2026 10:54:06
I like the post status addition so I can see if my nonsense has been approved yet.

2

19 Feb 2026 12:50:21
How do you know that, Bright?

1

19 Feb 2026 12:50:30
Oh, I've just "tested" it; you can still like your own posts, but only once! Lol! Let's see how this now affects a couple of posters. 🤔🤣🤣

1

19 Feb 2026 12:51:59
I think some don't realise how unpopular they are, and try and find reasons nobody gives them, then they thumbs up, lol. Vid. Talking about myself, obviously.

2

19 Feb 2026 12:57:12
You never talk nonsense, Alf.

2

19 Feb 2026 17:21:21
Because a certain man of zero integrity once managed to get a post of each of the gruesome two something like 40 likes, while the others in the thread had no more than 3 or 4. 🤣🤣And, whatever, Nightsinwhite, you've posted about twice, and both are just snidey claptrap. Sounds like an alt account to me.

3

19 Feb 2026 18:33:15
Certainly, don't come on this forum to be popular. In fact, a lot of my posts earlier this season were very pro Daniel Farke and Mez. It wouldn't take someone of moderate intelligence to know that my stance would be very unpopular on these subjects.

Just my opinion is all, and I don't give a toss if someone doesn't agree with me or doesn't like my posts, period. For the posters who crave popularity, that's up to them. Good luck with that.

2

19 Feb 2026 18:50:12
Has your name written all over it.

3

19 Feb 2026 20:11:25
Beam me up Scotty I think we just warped into an alternate universe. I was under the impression that this was a site for Leeds fans to share debate and argue their opinions in a fair and free environment without waspish angst ridden statements. It's the site Jim but not as we know it

0

19 Feb 2026 22:07:41
Vidlufc, if your views align with theirs you will be fine; if they do not, you are in trouble. You will be with two individuals who seem to get away with it for some reason. You cannot share your views.

Look at Ausman's views about Daniel Farke, wow, world war three, all because it is different from their views. I cannot see how you call that a debate in a free environment. Wait and see.

3

19 Feb 2026 22:20:02
Very big chip on your shoulder for some reason, Whiteman / WhiteNightie. I think you'll find that everyone encourages opinions, and is free to disagree as they please. If you choose to interpret someone disagreeing with another poster as meaning that their thoughts are not valid, then the problem lies only in your interpretation. You'll be saying you're "offended" by disagreement next!

2

19 Feb 2026 23:25:26
I agree, Bright. Maybe I'm optimistic, but I think there's a good, decent atmosphere on here. Even when we were fed up with Farke and Opti was being Opti, there was never venom. Polite disagreement for sure, but I don't think anyone here would want anyone else to stop posting.

I've disagreed with Opti plenty of times, and I never want him to change. A range of views is healthy.

1

20 Feb 2026 09:06:20
Spot on, Mo!

0

20 Feb 2026 10:29:17
Couldn't agree more, Mot. Differing opinions are what it's about, we don't have to agree with each other all the time. Whiteman seems to think if you oppose someone's post it surmounts to a personal insult. I don't understand his point at all. Healthy banter doesn't mean everyone agrees with each other either, Vid, even if that means responding in a very direct way.

We don't have to be happy families here, we are discussing football and it usually is a very emotive subject. I've never insulted anyone on this forum, nor do I intend to, even if it appears that someone is subliminally directing one to me.

1

20 Feb 2026 15:54:37
OP. wrong again but as you would say I don't care if you agree or not to what I post period, you and one other most certainly do crave popularity both of you worrying about getting thumbs up and don't like it when you don't get it (see what you both wrote ) who cares if you get them or not.

2

20 Feb 2026 18:26:00
Totally wrong yet again, Whiteman. Never mind.

1

20 Feb 2026 19:48:36
Must be AI posting in your name then. 🤷🏻‍♂️

2

18 Feb 2026 08:07:01
Ok lads. Don’t let me down. Got a drink on the game with villa barman. I get the draw too. Big stakes.

3

18 Feb 2026 10:37:00
Should be interesting, Aus, reckon you are on for an extra blow of ya froth, mate. Villa lost 3 of the last 4 at home. Elsewhere, Brighton have taken just 3 points from the last 6 games.

We know about Spuds troubles, and they have the Gunners next. Wet Spam have a tough one v Bournemouth, then away to Pool. Florists have a couple of toughies, too.

6

18 Feb 2026 13:02:17
Pop over, vid. Shout me a beer. 👍 😬

1

18 Feb 2026 13:55:35
I'll get me coat.

1

19 Feb 2026 09:38:13
You won't need a coat, mate. Just some budgee huggers. Hat. And sunscreen.
