I wouldn't focus too much on W.Ham Cork, they've got plenty of fight in them to steer clear of relegation.
It's Spurs that my eyes are on. I don't think they've got that fight in them, and they are the ones who could capitulate and drop.


Lose again to Sunderland tomorrow, and I really can't see where they find their way out of this mess they are in.

Wee 5 foot 4 Brian Flynn scored that Leeds United goal in a somewhat fortuitous 1 nil victory.

And lowly 3rd tier Leeds United beating Man U 1 nil away in FA Cup 16 years ago is defo one of my favourite games ever, as it was sooooo unexpected as well as being sooooo sweet.

Fergie's miffed face throughout the match was a picture. 📸

Pundits and alike respectfully are not giving us a chance of a result against a rejuvenated Carrick Man United team.
I suppose with our injuries on top of that would compound any realistic chance of beating our ol' enemy at Old Trafford.

It's all about our winnable home fixtures for me. we simply must beat both Wolves and Burnley, and draw at least with Brighton.

Those 7 points put us on 40 points.

(42 points if we beat Brighton rather than draw) . 40 points should be enough to stay up.

I honestly think we will lose all 4 away matches to Man U, Bournemouth, Spuds and West Ham. we have appalling records at the first 3 in particular.

Our away form, which has yielded only one win this season, has to improve. Plenty of well earned draws and a desperately unlucky defeat at Newcastle still give me the hope that we can win another one.

I agree, it's unlikely that we will pick the three points at Man U, but football does have a tendency to churn out unexpected results on occasions.
If the players go out on that pitch thinking the same way we as fans do, then they would most definitely lose.


I can tell you that this Leeds United team will be playing to win and not lose or draw.

In some matches, they have gone out, imo, uber defensive, playing to scrape a draw thru Farke's team selection, intent and retreat.

There's a lot going on about players been injured, rested, etc and how it's going to affect the rest of the season and who's to blame. It is what it is but all clubs have to put up with key players not being available at some time in the season. It just becomes more critical when you get to the end of the season and things are tight as it is with us.


I agree with a short post by LUFCfeath who pointed out that last season AO and Joe Rothwell stepped up. It's all about the squad and whether we can cope with the Premier League. It's no good having a team that can compete, you need a squad.
Re tonight, hopefully Wolves can give West Ham a hammering.

Yeah, Alf. Poor in-game management by Farke, mainly to blame. That's a lot of points gifted away. Players have to take some blame, but a pattern repeating itself that much feels like it hasn't been addressed by management.

It's not totally Farke's fault, as players should be made accountable. However, how many games this season have we been winning, only to sit back and defend deep for the last half hour or so? It's asking to concede, as constant pressure will normally result in a goal.
It'd literally scare the football out of the coach.
