Farke states, and I quote, " we wanted to go through "
I hate being taken for a fool, that's bol&$#ks, if he was serious about going through he wouldn5 have made 10 changes.
1.) 08 Feb 2025 21:18:20
you can make changes and still want to go through.
2.) 09 Feb 2025 12:59:19
He's right, 1970. We did want to go through, we just didn't want to risk our players doing so.
There's an argument to be made that we should have bought more players if injury is such a concern, but that's by the by.
3.) 09 Feb 2025 14:09:23
MOTagain 100%.
4.) 12 Feb 2025 09:03:49
Farke vindicated after last night? Resting the squad seemed to work like a charm.

1970 we need to get through promotion which has just got harder we could be two pints behind come Monday night.

Bielsa post match comments are very worrying - he sounds tired and defeated, almost resigned to continued struggles. My bet is he is off back to Argy at end of season.

Do we really have Lewin on payroll for 3 years at £12K a week - beginning to see how he became a free.
1.) 04 Oct 2025 15:01:29
Sorry, that’s £120K.
2.) 04 Oct 2025 15:22:36
Try £100k a week!
02 Oct 2025 19:03:45
Who cares about Europa league and conference league - absolute waste of time.
1.) 02 Oct 2025 20:16:25
The teams that are in them might take a different view.
2.) 03 Oct 2025 00:26:54
Euro football is euro football. Evenings at elland rd would be buzzing. As long as it Dosent affect league position.
3.) 03 Oct 2025 07:51:59
All 3 posts correct imo! ??
Would love to be in one soon, but until we are, they're proper Tom Noddy! ??.
4.) 03 Oct 2025 11:10:50
Quite true Aus. Would I like to finish 8th, absolutely. Would I like to finish 7th and be in the Europa Conference League, not on your nelly I wouldn't!
5.) 03 Oct 2025 13:54:58
Interesting perspective jr. 1 league position?
I was thinking more winning or losing league. Not mid table. I’d prob give euro and 16 next season. Not that I can watch live of course.
6.) 03 Oct 2025 17:44:52
I was thinking that finishing 7th and having to compete in the Europa Conference League would seriously screw up our PL campaign next year whereas finishing 8th would avoid that consequence.
7.) 03 Oct 2025 17:48:21
All academic however as mid teens is a more realistic ambition than 7th or 8th.
20 Sep 2025 14:03:27
Are our yankee owners insisting Aaronson plays?
1.) 21 Sep 2025 08:46:21
i'm thinking you are correct in that assumption. don't want to say that it is down to Farke, there's something amiss here.
13 Sep 2025 22:06:47
We have no goals from open play and are on 4 pts because we got late pen against toffees, could easily be on 2 points.
So, lucky to be on 4. Lewin and Numchuks are not exactly goal machines, poor old Farkey has obviously been begging for help upfront.
We may as well have kept hold of Bam, could still be paying him weekly instead of doing a deal on remainder of contract.
PSR has little to d9 with our lack of reinforcements, a decent accountant can within certain limits get the accounts to say whatever he wants. Owners generally strip millions of cash flow for other uses ( just look a5 our admin costs )
Finally I repeat 360 mins + injury time or whatever they call it today and NO, ZERO, ZILCH, NADA, F. ALL from open play.
1.) 13 Sep 2025 23:02:34
Correct the owners are playing us and Farke for mugs and the sooner they sell up and ship out the better.
When you compare how smaller in status and fan base clubs like Bournemouth and Brentford have a far superior, forward thinking and knowledgeable ownership model than Leeds it's quite depressing the way our beloved club is just seen as a rinsing opportunity by parasitical corporate b. s. merchants.
2.) 14 Sep 2025 10:44:35
Cheshire they didn’t have a more forward thinking approach yes they did well but also cone up when gap between leagues was smaller every year it gets harder.
3.) 14 Sep 2025 19:27:14
Yes Berm you are quite correct that the gap has widened significantly so the clubs I've mentioned have built year on year and got their feet well and truly under the table but they also lose star players each year and still manage to replace those players and keep themselves comfortably mid table which comes down to their recruitment and forward thinking approach in regards to the money they receive from player sales is reinvested on quality not average quantity and injury prone players.
These so called smaller in status clubs to Leeds demonstrate with actions not soundbites, astute and well researched recruitment across the wider football world unlike our lot who have sadly demonstrated a short sighted penny pinching approach that I and others suspect is for the benefit of themselves and their investors.
Time will tell the full consequences of our insufficient creative quality summer transfer dealings and I'm still hopeful Farke can find a way to make the players he does have more productive and clinical in front of goal but if he isn't able to do so and a new man comes in with a similar outcome I think it's chystal clear where the blame lies.
03 Sep 2025 03:31:33
DCL doesn't exactly have an eye catching strike rate over his ENTIRE EPL career. Injury aside there are reasons he ended on a free and agreed to join a club that many see as prime relegation candidates. I guess he did secure himself a good paycheck for the nex5 three years.
Hope I am wrong but as others say on here " I am rarely wrong when it comes to football "
( actually, I am in fact quite often wrong! )
He missed 2 sitters against barcodes, let's go with " well it takes time to bed in". Cobblers the onion bag is in the same place and is the same size as always - he should atleast have some idea as to its whereabouts.
16 Apr 2024 03:20:41
Well he would say that wouldn’t he! I don’t read that much into it, if money is right he will be back to Germany before you can say blitzkrieg.
07 Aug 2023 15:42:27
I can't even say it, let alone sing it!
02 May 2023 15:45:56
With you on this one AUS - I assume Sam will be on a good "bung" if he somehow keeps us up.
17 Jun 2022 23:09:14
Please see my post from earlier this week! Of course he knew, no doubt what so ever - question is would he have spent regardless?
Probably not - but as I stated previously we will end up with net profit the window for Radz to siphon off a couple of million for other ventures.
He has been good for Leeds but first and foremost he is a business man looking to make a profit.
12 Oct 2025 18:56:52
That explains a lot of your posts, a picture is worth 1000 words.
04 Oct 2025 20:30:44
Heads up boys - we won5 be getting a top finisher in January either.
04 Oct 2025 15:01:29
Sorry, that’s £120K.
12 Sep 2025 21:11:22
Agree with Berm. It was ridiculous in the end as he was responding to nearly every post, he must have been glued to the screen ( and probably still is) then that moron George would jump in etc.
Much better place now, more varied posters but generally the vitriol has disappeared which is great.
Cottage 0 LUFC 1 - you heard it here first!
