Was impressed with some of the Bournemouth players. Two goal scorers were good and young. Think they got the Brazilian for 12 notes.
If we have a 100 to spend I hope we can unearth some good quality young players.

I always wonder how clubs like Bournemouth, Brighton, Brentford, etc manage to find such players for economical prices, but we never. If we want to pinch anyone from Bournemouth, it should perhaps be their head of recruitment.
24 Apr 2026 19:29:15
Was thinking the same, JR, during the match.
Their CB Senesi is on a free transfer this summer, and what a player he looks. Could we possibly have a chance?
24 Apr 2026 22:54:53
Maybe Kroupi as well, and Thiago from Brentford.
However, the fly in the ointment is that their business models are based on identifying such players, signing them for comparatively modest sums, turning them into quality PL material, and selling them on for big money, so we can no longer afford them.
What we need to do is find them first and then keep them long enough that we get so good they don't want to leave. That's the tricky bit.

Not a fan of Tyler ..

Wayne Carrr.
24 Apr 2026 00:06:10
No. I don't like the bloke either. Glad we sold him. He was giving it some when they scored, cocky git. He must've expected booing.
24 Apr 2026 08:43:04
Took me a while to get the Wayne Carr comment lol. Getting old and slow.
24 Apr 2026 17:43:46
We do make allowances, Aus!
23 Apr 2026 16:37:58
Would anyone take any players from Leicester?
I get that they went down without a whimper and definitely an attitude problem there with some.
James Justin shows that a change of scenery could help some massively.
I wouldn't take many and would stay away from Winks and Skipp.
However, I would be interested in Luke Thomas as a backup for Gabby and Fatawu as a dangerous winger, hopefully as a James replacement.
Thoughts? Obviously at the right price but if £15m got it down quickly for both, I would jump at that.
The BBC article really lays bare how much trouble they are in, so we should be trying a cut price deal with maybe a loan or two of youngsters to 'help' them.

About 2.5 years ago I had read that Leicester were talking to an Australian financial outfit.
To bankroll the incoming Seez.
Couldn't help but think, oh dear, this ain't gonna end well. Just had a few red flags in it.
Terrible for supporters, another example of silver spoon kids destroying what a more old skool man had built up.
23 Apr 2026 17:48:18
Err, Luke Thomas a virtual ever present in a Leicester defence that has shipped 70 goals so far against Champo players!
No to any Leicester players for me..
And DJ has a contract to June 2029 at Leeds United. Hopefully his injury is behind him now, and next season he bags EPL goals and assists for Leeds.
23 Apr 2026 19:40:23
Most Leicester players aren't good enough for the Championship, let alone the PL. That's why they are where they are. No thanks!
23 Apr 2026 20:41:03
Personally, I thought it was a good shout from Ealing.
Fatawu is a good player, as is Thomas.
We were a disgrace the season we got relegated, but players like Pascal and Aaronson are still at ER doing their bit. And, don't forget we got JJ from them and look how he's performed.
We have 100 mill apparently to spend? I'd rather get two or three big quality signings and some good back ups at a reasonable price.
We need difference makers in attack.
23 Apr 2026 21:03:32
I don't think that there is any player at Leicester City that is going to help us in the Premiership. The confidence in those players is at an all-time low, and even the ones with potential would be a significant risk to take on.
23 Apr 2026 21:10:15
Fatawu got to be worth a peek.
Take him out of the current environment, and a more stable surrounding should bring back out the talent that's in there.
23 Apr 2026 21:17:52
A good player in a bad team won't look as good as he can be.
24 Apr 2026 07:19:35
Monga is the young man (17/18) that all the big teams are supposed to be watching, and they will almost certainly have to sell.
I cannot believe that Harry Winks will remain on £90,000 a week in Division One!
Without significant financial injection, the BBC article is claiming that they will be unable to service their debts.
24 Apr 2026 12:36:54
I'm very happy we got Justin when we did, and I was surprised that he has turned out better than I thought.
That club is rotten to the core, and I can't see how any of those players at Leicester can be a Premiership player. Ultimately, it was the players who sent them down; the players' characters alone must tell you already that they are not prepared to fight and give their max.
They might offload a few players to some Championship clubs, but I would be very surprised if any wing it to a Premiership club.
25 Apr 2026 09:14:59
Justin has been a revelation at Leeds. He got a lot of stick from Leicester supporters, and most were pleased they'd "got rid" of him when he went to ER. Shows how a change of environment can sometimes re-kickstart your career.
23 Apr 2026 16:35:47
Gruyev out for the season with a meniscus injury. Bogle has a foot injury, but Farke expects him to be available on Sunday. Stach also getting nearer to fitness.

A real shame for Gruev.
23 Apr 2026 17:49:36
On a positive note it means DF chooses more attacking subs.
23 Apr 2026 20:44:29
Would have been a big loss if his injury was a couple of months back but he's done his bit and we are fine. 🤞
23 Apr 2026 23:09:05
Attacking subs like the eternally injured James?
24 Apr 2026 00:20:15
Eternally OP..?
40 plus goals and assists in previous 2 seasons for Danny.. played most games.
24 Apr 2026 07:59:20
Coz you always throw an attacking sub on to try and close out a game? Circumstances sometimes dictate that an attacking sub ain't always the best option! It would be better for Gruev, and us, had he not been injured, particularly in light of the cup! Surely?
But, hey, you throw away remarks til your heart's content if it fits the promoted storyline.
24 Apr 2026 10:39:37
Yeah, going defensive, closing out the game has been soooo effective this season.
23 Apr 2026 16:22:22
Great point yesterday, a couple as already stated were not firing and gave the ball away too easily.
But that's the first game that we saw some emotion from DF. Finally, I think he's starting to believe - it was great to see him having a go at some players.

23 Apr 2026 21:08:06
I think he has always believed in what he could achieve with his players at Leeds Utd. It's a shame that a number of fans didn't believe in him, even before the season started!
23 Apr 2026 12:18:52
It is a very good point what JR pointed out below, the referee also had a good game and did his job properly which is rare for us.
I know some will feel that we were only lucky, but I think it’s because we are so used to be on the wrong end of the important decisions by the ref and VAR.
Those decisions were made correctly and we 100% deserved that point against a very good and in-form Bournemouth, let’s not underestimate what performance we did last night.
Tyler Adam’s didn’t like the fact our fans gave him some stick, so he felt like he needed to cheat.
No worries Tyler, we don’t miss you, we have better than you in our squad.

Disappointed with Adams. We gave him his break to the big time, and he mocked us for his assist. We had every right to boo the turncoat, even though we got more than what he is worth. Makes you appreciate Ba's character more. Some are Leeds. Some are money.
23 Apr 2026 17:28:01
Both bang on. He wanted to be centre of attention as soon as he came on, which is proof that he would not fit in with the ethos of our squad. Arrogant joker.

23 Apr 2026 08:40:42.
Think we enjoyed an element of luck last night, (long overdue) but cannot praise the effort and togetherness enough against a very slick Bournemouth side to come away with a point is just fantastic.
Thought Struick had his best game of the season, Darlow again made a crucial fantastic save, agree Bogle and Bijol were not at their best, but think that was a combination of knocks and tiredness.
But our whole squad epitomised by Longstaff last night are always ready to support the cause.
Finally, big shout out to our manager last night, who I thought got everything right, and for myself demonstrated to me, he is now operating at a level I never thought possible, so I hold my hands up, I was wrong with regards to DF and all credit to him.

Well said, class. Us so called experts are sometimes quick with our expert take on how things should have been done, usually after the event. Have to admit I've not always been right about Farke. And, in the words of one such lucky, famous manager, "Good managers make good sides. There's no such thing as a side making a manager."
23 Apr 2026 09:23:22
Largely agree, class, about your post.
Think we were lucky, but deservedly so because of attitude.
Think the manager and team have def improved since November. The defence and gk have very much improved.
But our goal was survival, which pretty much has been achieved.
I'm not sure this manager and team can do any better than that.
But a win on Sunday for us, and I'm predicting a weekend win for Wolves, and the end of the season has proved very enjoyable.
23 Apr 2026 09:39:12
Agree with all of that, Class. Struijk, for me, was outstanding and MoM. His game is improving every game.
You're right about Bournemouth. They were very slick, they've bought some fantastic young players there and they didn't pay vast amounts for them. A lesson to money bags Chelsea on classy recruitment.
Only problem for Bournemouth is that they are losing the awesome conductor to their success.
Great performance from our boys, though. They never gave up and were rewarded for it.
Nmencha and Willy coming on just at the right time to save the game, and give us another massive point and huge momentum leading up to those Chelsea pretenders.
23 Apr 2026 10:02:03
Special mentions for the Ref who ignored Bournemouth histrionics and got big decisions right and for Tyler Adams who was an a*******.
23 Apr 2026 10:49:22
A few of our players played yesterday as though they had Sunday on their mind.
In view of the point gained, I'll view it as a positive that they are very up for that game!
23 Apr 2026 10:53:06
Don't agree totally, Mez.
That Barca side made Pep. I think we can all agree on that.
23 Apr 2026 11:11:56
Lots of teams have made managers look good. They just followed a poor manager.
24 Apr 2026 08:36:51
Chris, I think Pep has proved he is a good manager with Munich and City. Not disputing Barcelona wasn't already a good team when he took over. Good managers get the best out of a group of players.
