Just playing devil's advocate here, but would you now feel that Radz knows / knew all along that Kal was gone, and he's just spent on the back of his value .

I so hope that's NOT THE CASE, because again if it is, it shows this man is NOT the man with LEEDS IN HIS SOUL.

We all hoped he had learned from May, but this now seems he's robbed Peter to pay Paul.

CC Care to explain why an Italian might have Leeds ?? in his soul? I have it in mine because I was born and bred in city but you can't expect a non-Leeds, non-Yorkshireman, non-Englishman, non-British person to have those kind of feelings. Furthermore, Radz is the second poorest EPL club owner. He's managing the club like a business and is ostensibly prospectively spreading the joy of an imminent double sale across the pitch. He did reference the "Leicester model". What else did you expect precisely? Once stadium ?️ expanded, we can depart from "Leicester model" and be more of a hitter but like I said some time ago we're not going to threaten or bother the top 6 until the end of the decade. Not so terrible.

That would be a no from me Chris. They’ve always been clear that this summer would see the second significant investment in the squad, to make us more competitive in the Prem - not the second stand still and go backwards.

We’re just coming to the end of the 8th day of the transfer window, and we’ve already signed 3 players - it’s almost like they had a plan. So, let’s at least try to be a little positive for a day or two.

No Chris he’s an Italian business man and one who worked miracles at our club. I see your point but there’s not many owners of a club who have their soul in the club. Unfortunate but true in this age.

Please see my post from earlier this week! Of course he knew, no doubt what so ever - question is would he have spent regardless?

Probably not - but as I stated previously we will end up with net profit the window for Radz to siphon off a couple of million for other ventures.

He has been good for Leeds but first and foremost he is a business man looking to make a profit.

As usual 1 answer I was expecting and 2 very fair 1's, yes on reflection my term was silly, so take that point .

As my 1st sentence seemed to fly directly over someone's head I alluded to the point where I am hoping he is doing the right thing 1st, and Kals sale will be secondary and wasn't also in the LUFC domain .

Iam being positive clue, I am of course happy with signings, trying fishing for ideas is all as I said at start of thread .

Thanks lads ?.

Same reason why an Aussie or a Scot or a South African or an Irish man would have Leeds in their souls George .

But as usual from you, pick, pick, pick, so good to hear you haven't changed ❤️.

Btw I hope I don't need to assign the news to the Nationalities mentioned?.

Yes Chris, I entirely understand the concept of playing devil’s advocate - my point was, why bother doing so at the moment. After a season of unremitting tension, let’s just enjoy being positive for a few days.

Of course the Club knew there was a high chance Citeh or one of the other teams playing in Europe next season would come in for KP this summer, and that despite his statements about wanting to stay with Leeds, there was an equally high chance KP would find such an offer very difficult to turn down. Indeed many players will state there commitment to their current club partly to help ensure other interested clubs will come in with a genuinely tempting wage offer.

And obviously it makes entire sense for Leeds to get cracking early with incoming transfers before you sell KP and/ or Raphinha for a half decent transfer fee. Even if the Club intends to make significant net investment in our squad, why give other clubs the excuse to bump up their asking prices? - the lower each fee, the greater the chance to further increase our squad depth and or add to the funds earmarked for stadium redevelopment etc.

As per one of my earlier comments - the current transfer investment will be coming from both Radz and the investors through the 49ers (Yorke family, Peter Lowy etc) - so if there was a net profit on transfers this summer, it wouldn’t just be going in Radz’s back pocket - so discussion of Radz’s motivation etc is irrelevant. Why bother discussing a false premise?

CC Would Mark Viduka, Gordon Strachan or Lucas Radebe played for us for free? Did the Duke not play for Celtic before us and Middlesboro after? Strachan previously the arch enemy then Coventry after us? Your examples bear no relevance. When you talk about soul, you find that on terraces with salt of earth Leeds fans and very few places else.

No George you said you can't HAVE Leeds in your soul without being from Leeds.

That's total boy-lux the players mentioned still to this day adore Leeds Utd + btw it wasn't Gordo it was Eddie .

It wasn't Mark neither it was Tony, So YOUR reply bares no relevance now .

Have a day off today + get some sunshine, it supposedly lifts the mood ❤️?.

Also George you earlier told me Radz was the 2nd poorest Owner, yet when Cluey explained in detail of the cross board depth of investment at Leeds you loved that post! Well this then bares no relevance to your initial point as Radz is not alone in his spending, deeming your post irrelevant . I do my best to avoid getting sucked into your knit picking but sometimes it is very hard to .

Clueless, of course I know you know what devil's advocate means .

I started a thread, to just get thoughts, other than, a, b, or c is supposed to sign,

Of course I am happy we are getting in players, but I still want Radz out of here, same as I have for a few years now . I. M. O. he's not the man he likes to have us think he is

That's just my opinion, rightly or wrongly, and ultimately my opinion me as nothing to him, so no harm done

So.

CC Illogic your strong suit. I loved Cluey post because Radz has made an effort despite being second poorest owner. I applaud him for what he's done despite not being a rich Sheikh or Fenway. Logic just ain't your thing. As for Dorigo, yes it found it's way into him. He's an intelligent guy. Eddie, yes of course - football family dynasty. I did say there were exceptions. You found a couple. Million people in Leeds, 15 million in Scotland, 15 million in Australia. Your point?

I think you prove my point yourself time + again George .

I can't seem to find the poster who made your forum superintendent but you play the role so well .

Keep at it by the way ??

That's the end from me now regardless of what you type back .
