Surely Rey, Clarke and Dalby have to be given a chance this weekend? Grot, Ekuban, Lasogga, Roofe have had enough chances now. BPF Pearce Jansson O'Connor Anita Rey Forshaw Clarke Hernandez Saiz Dalby.

Maybe look at what youth options we have for Saiz as well. I'm sure he's thinking of a move next year.

2.) 01 May 2018 17:06:23
Machuca is most like Saiz. I think his future depends on who's in charge next year.

3.) 01 May 2018 19:40:57
This is my one disappointment with Hecky. The situation was known weeks ago and he should have at least had some of these on the bench with the intention of giving them 20+ minutes. Bringing on the likes of Lassoga tells nobody, nothing!

4.) 02 May 2018 00:00:53
Agree Leodis. And in fear of sounding like a broken record. No wimp Anita. Second worse player on our books.

5.) 03 May 2018 21:11:25
The way Saiz has been playing lately I thought he'd gone already

04 Apr 2018 00:25:03
No to Mick McCarthy, Alan Pardew, Tony Pulis, Strachan or any other dinosaur. Yes to Hannes Wolf, Slaven Bilic, Marco Silva, Dean Smith, Eduardo Perizzo. Give Corberan or Mark Jackson until the end of the season. Heck couldn't inspire an orchestra.

SG90

1.) 05 Apr 2018 09:06:16
Inspire an orchestra.

2.) 05 Apr 2018 13:54:06
Why would we want a coach who could inspire an orchestra? Are orchestras really easy to inspire?

3.) 05 Apr 2018 14:17:27
Alf that comment was that Heck couldn't inspire the inspirable, basically can't do anything.

4.) 05 Apr 2018 19:31:02
I'd say no to all of the above

09 Dec 2017 22:10:26
Spanish media and Daily Express linking us with Andres Guardado from Betis. Second in La Liga assists table with 6 and still the current Mexico captain. Would be an incredible signing if we pull it off, tequila shots at the ready to celebrate.

SG90

1.) 09 Dec 2017 23:57:56
guadardo would be a good buy because of his assists. He seems to be the type of player who can make other players play. The one big caveat is given his age, if we get two good years out of him, will Radrizzani accept getting zero resale value. Having said that, if he helps get us to the Premier League, then the answer is a definite yes.

05 Sep 2017 14:06:58
Wondering if this 'big surprise' from Asia will be one of the players in the Chinese Super League on crazy money. Jackson Martinez, Carlos Tevez, Oscar, Alex Texeira etc? 😅 Although it will probably be Godzilla or a Kim Jung-On takeover.

SG90

1.) 05 Sep 2017 16:36:35
Maybe our additional defender?

2.) 06 Sep 2017 00:51:30
Is Harpal Singh making his long awaited return?

3.) 06 Sep 2017 09:45:54
Shunta Nakamura
Takefusa Kubo
Probably going to be a talented Japanese kid for the under 23s

4.) 06 Sep 2017 13:50:21
and the inevitable down-vote from our resident Doncaster Rovers lurker. Might want to check into Toshiya Fujita, what with him being our chief scout in Asia, being Japanese and stating Orta has briefed him to identify young Japanese talent. It won't be a first-team player. Might be about to announce a tie-up with a Japanese feed club. Might be signing a Japanese kid for the under-23s. Won't be anyone for the first team.

5.) 06 Sep 2017 16:19:06
Good luck finding a song for those 2 citywhite

6.) 06 Sep 2017 18:04:20
City, an under 23 player wouldn't get a work permit though. Has to be a full international or an EU player.

7.) 06 Sep 2017 19:11:08
nope. 5 points is enough, on appeal with the FA's current scoring system. Just has to have played in equivalent champions league type competition for his current club. National team appearances scores more points and isn't contested.

8.) 06 Sep 2017 20:51:21
They can also make allowances if the player is considered of wonderkid potential, rules are a more negotiable at tribunal for any player under 20 supposedly.

9.) 07 Sep 2017 12:45:55
It could be ex Swansea player Chico Flores

22 Aug 2017 22:15:07
Burnley, Saiz will cost you at least £50m 😜

I can't be the only one who doesn't want this takeover to happen surely? I couldn't think of anything worse than us becoming a soulless rich man's plaything full of mercenaries and plastic fans. That's before getting into the moral side of the bargain as well. How would our link ups with Pride etc still stand with Qatari owners?

SG90

1.) 26 May 2019 12:32:14
If you were worried about "the moral side of the bargain" I would have some sympathy with you, but your assertion that Leeds would become "full of mercenaries" I don't understand. ALL clubs are full of mercenaries, that is what the transfer system is all about.

There are not many players, if any these days, that show one club loyalty. Lots are good at kissing their current clubs badge, but a few weeks later, after a very lucrative transfer they will be doing exactly the same with their new club.

All players moving up, be it a division, to a higher profile club, to a richer club are mercenaries. There is no way you can achieve success without them. That is what football is all about.

As for "plastic fans". At Leeds? Don't think so. Can't see us becoming the "prawn sandwich" brigade. Think we will always be burger, hot dogs and pie fans. 🍔🌭🥧 😁🤣😁

MOT💙💛.

2.) 26 May 2019 13:23:20
can see point but don't agree

yes it would bring plastic fans and tourists but still the core leeds fan won't die or go away. look at city they still got their proper fans and are still a proper club, just a very rich sucuessfl good one to wacth.

I think it would be no less than the proper leeds fans deserve becoming the next many cit.

3.) 26 May 2019 14:37:09
We are, always have been, always will be a traditional working class football club. That's why people don't like us, it's grim up north tha knows.

4.) 26 May 2019 15:13:59
We will infect them to become Yorkshire like. Not t'other way round.

5.) 26 May 2019 15:15:55
SG, I think you are the only one who doesn’t want this take over to happen. I would gladly let someone spend money at my club, hope that doesn’t make me a mercenary.

I would certainly welcome the stability and the opportunity it would bring, such as players we may not otherwise be able to afford or would attract for loan, and before anyone bangs the FFP drum, there are certain ways to bring in players and still show a profit or not a loss that breaks the rules.

Bring it on, as I truly believe we won’t be in any better position than this season if the status quo remains, I don’t think Radz has the resources at the moment.

22 Apr 2019 20:47:04
That Henry Winter article certainly has done its job of jinxing us!

SG90

1.) 22 Apr 2019 20:59:58
Is that the Fonz? Didn’t know he’s a White!

2.) 22 Apr 2019 21:01:56
Radz is to blame no investment in jan, sold made money didn’t put it back, bought ER or one of his companies did made it look good by given use 33 months free rent but stands to make 2 mill each year from rent, MB hopefully will stay but now needs to wise up, As for Radz couldn’t give a 💩.

3.) 22 Apr 2019 21:18:43
Surprised to hear you say that Whiteman!

4.) 22 Apr 2019 21:25:45
Italian Bates is more interested in attention seeking on Twitter and talking to the media than actually putting up any funds to help. Twice his greediness has cost us promotion now.

5.) 22 Apr 2019 21:31:22
Likewise Spanishlad, who'd have thought it 😲.

6.) 22 Apr 2019 22:13:56
Whiteman. 😂😂👍👍🐂💩.

7.) 23 Apr 2019 00:51:25
It's not greediness, it's playing within the rules, or should history repeat itself?

8.) 23 Apr 2019 16:43:20
Bang on AL. Brum, now others facing sanctions over FFP. Everyone would have a fit, and slag Radz more if we were one of them! Anyone remember Ridsdale?

22 Apr 2019 20:43:12
Time to rest Kiko, Jansson, Ayling, Klich, Phillips and Pablo for the playoffs. Play the likes of Bogusz, Struijk, Stevens, Edmondson, Shackleton and Brown for the final 2 games. The players are clearly mentally shot. They need a break to get the mojo back for the playoffs. Also we will be trying something a bit different.

SG90

1.) 22 Apr 2019 20:52:00
OMG! . why not just use the catering staff? . oh yes there aren't any! Or the full U21 team! . DOH!

2.) 22 Apr 2019 20:56:44
Eh? Why not play u23s for two games? They've been superb and are full of confidence. We can't be going into the playoffs shot and low on confidence. That will be our undoing.

3.) 22 Apr 2019 21:02:30
The under 9s don't have a game.

4.) 22 Apr 2019 21:09:57
Absolutely agree SG90 if the results go against us next weekend then give those senior players you mentioned a week off. Give the U23’s a go and a chance to impress.
We need some fresh impetus and more importantly we don’t need to pick up injuries or suspensions in dead games.

5.) 22 Apr 2019 21:43:12
Keep on keeping on, Villa up next with them looking for an 11th win on the spin. Leeds win I reckon. Auto's gone, pride to play for, let's nail 3rd and put the hurt on Fat Frank or Lee Johnson. MOT.

6.) 22 Apr 2019 21:31:22
SG. We’ll get proper stuffed with those players in the first team. Not ready, and the gulf in standards is huge. They are talented, with potential, but why destroy them when they’re not ready?

7.) 22 Apr 2019 23:04:28
I understand what your saying Brighty but you never know? IF It did happen then maybe just a couple. If the season does totally fizzle out and Radz does not have the money for quality players then I for one would be more than happy to see a few young faces start the pre seasons. Give them a chance, and for once set up pre season games against meaningful opposition. Whilst I have every faith in the U23s, now is not the best time to introduce them.

8.) 23 Apr 2019 16:46:06
Yeah, definitely Leodis, for next season, absolutely mate. I was just talking about the next two games, not the time to blood some new ones who haven’t had a sniff this season, but 100% agree that they are given the opportunity next pre season!

19 Apr 2019 21:09:47
The problem is we kick off after the blunts again for the next two. We could be three behind at kick off on Monday and we could be going into the Villa game as a must win to keep our hopes alive. Unfortunately it's really unfair that we've had 4 in a row after them, but when Sky dictate everything it hardly ever will be.

SG90

1.) 19 Apr 2019 21:32:19
Fair comment SG, but a lot saw that as an advantage to us. It’s about taking the news, and fronting up with the knowledge of what needs to be done, and sadly we didn’t do that today. Hopefully we can over the next two games.

2.) 19 Apr 2019 21:32:50
SG It doesn't matter when or who we play. We must win every game we have to play.

3.) 19 Apr 2019 23:35:39
To be fair the elf should tell sly spurts that the last 5 games of the business end of the season must all kick off at the same time on the same day to make it an even playing field.

4.) 20 Apr 2019 06:46:25
What are we saying that the pressure of knowing what Sheffield United have done is having an effect on our players? Didn't we go 1 nil up, let's not clutch at straws and blame this or that! Truth is we messed it up ourselfs. This is not the first time this season this team has failed to take the opportunity, QPR, Birmingham to name just two. We know we can pull of great results like the WBA game and even the Preston and Sheffield Wednesday games, but we can just as easily be yesterday's team.

5.) 20 Apr 2019 07:49:10
Not many people mentioning Wigan as a reason why we lost yesterday. A team fired up, with a plan to unsettle us that worked and they delivered until the final whistle. They had a real reason to play out of their skin and they did and we couldn’t unpick it! Once the game started, don’t think the kick off time mattered, we were beaten by the better team in the day. Let’s nit forget they did all that with 10 men for most of the game!

6.) 20 Apr 2019 09:05:53
They will never kick off same time and I for one do not want then to. Maybe you, like me watched the Sheffield match before sitting down to Leeds. Some may even have stayed around for the Norwich game.

7.) 20 Apr 2019 09:07:15
Inconsistent since the turn of the year is costing us.

8.) 20 Apr 2019 09:50:40
Sensible post Mezzer, it's not that we didn't play well enough to win, it was the old problem of not forcing the ball in the net.

19 Apr 2019 20:38:44
Drinking and listening to the Replacements. This is what you do to me Leeds! I suppose if we didn't laugh, we would cry.

Unfortunately leo, these performances always seem to happen at the worst time. Reminds me of the Wolves game under Monk. At least we have the lifeline of the playoffs this time, but if they can't perform when the pressure's on, they won't be winning them either.
