Agree with below. How much better is it to watch us with proper goalie and defence. None of that playing around from James. Catch it or clear it. Bloody simple innit. All put in a good shift. Prob slightly fortunate to get 3 points but well done Stach for seeing goalie's poor positioning.

Only negative for me was Amps always looking at passing back before forward. Anyway. We looking solid. Hard to beat. Maybe still lacking a bit of flair but hopefully Wilson will kick on.
Only Arsenal have more points than us since April.

If we get Brandt and Wilson, I would expect to unload James and Arrenson. Like to keep large. Must get rid of as much dead wood as possible. Ok going for free transfers as long as we spend big on a striker.

Think it will be difficult to offload DJ because of his wages. Farke likes BA, and I think he will either sign a new contract or go.
I like Large as well. He's never going to be our best defender, but his goal return was good in the Championship.
I think Willie G will go - good resale price, but cost us very little.

It might come down to what system we play next season. I'd stick to three at the back because we were difficult to beat in the second half of the season, and if we had a bit more up front we would have picked up more points. If Farke reverts to 4-2-4, then we'd need a few wingers.

You need two solid defensive full backs with four at the back. Most of ours are good going forward, but not quite as convincing when defending.

Remember trudging back to the hotel after the play off defeat to Southampton and being laughed at and abused by some of their fans because they were standing by a police van. What goes around comes around, so pleased that they have been thrown out! Also, Boro is a better away trip should they win.

I'd rather lose 2-1 at least you get the chance to jump and leap about seeing a goal, it's a shambolic record on these expensive days out for the team to never turn up like our fanbase, not sure I ever want to go back to Wembley it's a depressing thought, but as we say keep the faith roll on Friday and hopefully 3pts to put safety to bed.
