It’s sad and actually ridiculous that there’s still discussion about whether DF deserves to continue. Many of the same voices were negative on him in The Champioship and some would have expressed preferences for the Ipswich or then Southampton coaches. So here we are in the EPL and both the above teams aren’t. McKenna is still coaching Ipswich and seems like a promising young coach. However, under DF, we’ve already won as many games as Ipswich managed in their entire season despite their bigger spending and better players. Already this season 3 clubs have already changed their coaches. It doesn’t seem to be working at all at Wolves, West Ham have improved but are still dropping points and only Forest have gotten a real bounce. And that’s despite all 3 teams having better players than us and much more EPL experience.
So changing the coach is no guarantee of success and could, in fact, impede our chances of survival. Seems to me that Wolves and Burnley are likely to be relegated so the fight is on to avoid joining them. Realistically there are 4 or 5 teams still at risk including Leeds of course. The job is just not to be the worst of this bunch. I wish we could all just get real, acknowledge what’s been accomplished so far under the current management, get in a forward or 2 in January to cover the inevitable injuries or suspensions and with 22 games left in our season just get behind our team to give them the max chance. Here’s hoping we all have reason to be happy over Christmas.

I don’t consider your post sad or ridiculous, however, I respectfully ask that just because other posters don’t mirror your own opinions, views, they are simply considered as different, individual, to each particular poster.
Brighton, Forest and Burnley were not figments of our imagination.
Difference of opinions is the lifeblood of any banter site, however, denigrating alternative views, will only lead to a malaise of blandness and a site without healthy debate and a healthy amount of differing perspectives, will surely cease to be of any interest, consequence.
Would be my own sad and slightly ridiculous opinion.

With respect Class I believe sixpence is only expressing his own opinion, is he not. I think if he finds it sad or ridiculous that other fans appear to criticize Farke a lot, which they do, then he is entitled to say that.
In my opinion although we didn’t play above and beyond ourselves against Forest and Brighton it doesn’t mean either that the players were disinterested or not motivated as some have remarked on this forum, but on the same hand that might be yours and some others opinion which you are also entitled to.
I think if we are not allowed to criticize others opinions on here then that is surely not a healthy banter site. I believe sixpence is not being rude or denigrating to where others would feel overly offended.
18 Dec 2025 19:46:56
That’s fine then OP, but having read previously from sixpence how people criticising Farke should now jog on, in my opinion, that’s not a position based on any specifics, but a blanket rejection of a contrary view.
As previously posted, having been at the Brighton game I can speak from personal experience when I say our travelling supporters let both the team and Farke know in no uncertain terms what they thought of that inept display, many left early.
And I’ll praise Farke where I believe it’s merited and likewise reserve my right to criticise him when I (personally) consider it’s warranted.
So long as its never personal or cancelling it’s all good, live and let live.
I don’t expect miracles, or us circumnavigating the PSR restrictions which hurt us undoubtedly, but recent displays have set the bar from which we cannot fall below from here on in.
18 Dec 2025 22:05:49
All I would say to that is, not much pressure on Farke then with a team that’s expected to be relegated before the season started, looks like the expectations are very high and perhaps rightly so.
I just think to myself, why not sack him now while there’s time, he will definitely lose more games than win and if that’s not acceptable to some then try someone else.
Just because he’s achieved a couple of half decent results doesn’t mean that's going to continue for the rest of the season because I can pretty much guarantee you, it won’t.
Sack him now, it’s surely inevitable and what most fans want anyway, it was only because we beat Liverpool that Jesse Marsch had a stay of execution, why wait until we lose again and again.?
We have the right to flip flop our opinions on Farke as fans, sack him, don’t sack him, but he’s not allowed to have a bad game from time to time, I’m not sure if I’m honest that might be slightly unreasonable in my opinion. ?
18 Dec 2025 23:52:22
Other fans only criticise Farke because either his performance deserves it or the usual suspects on here treat him like a king for having a good week and forget about the previous 3 months.
19 Dec 2025 06:25:10
He’s only a human being, why expect the man to perform miracles.
19 Dec 2025 07:14:58
You usual suspects who rightly so can criticize Farke when there’s a not so good performance and also praise him when his team have a good performance.
The part that I disagree with is the chanting for him to have the sack when there’s a bad run of results.
For now it’s let’s not sack him but as soon as we have another bad run of results again and we will, all the sack Farke banners come out again.
Thats not criticism or praise, it’s called being fickle, in my opinion.

Far too much time being dedicated to the art, mode and etiquette of debate, rather than the debates and discussions themselves in my view.
Probs a side effect of a society where we have to justify how we say something more than the core of WHAT we are saying. All effin' liberalist bollox, I reckon!
Up the whites.
That is all. Carry on.
19 Dec 2025 08:56:29
You’re right Bright and it is an effect or problem of society today. Liberalist comments telling people what they can or can not say about anything infuriates me.
Damn straight I’d be rather talking about events of our football club but then you are constantly reminded of how offended people are by just a benign opinion.
I despair.
19 Dec 2025 09:32:43
I think the majority of managers in the bottom half will come under such scrutiny and it's quite natural. We are far from safe and until we hit 40pts we need to constantly evaluate if we have the right personnel to take the club forward. If the 9ers weren't succession planning it would be negligent.
19 Dec 2025 09:33:15
100% Bright.
19 Dec 2025 10:05:49
And you are the very worst of it opti.
Constantly posting about posters opinion rather that a subject of interest.
19 Dec 2025 10:24:30
Great posts Class, totally agree dude.
19 Dec 2025 14:36:55
Thats pure rubbish Aus and you know it, I try to start conversations often on here about subjects of our club, there was one recently where I think Alf was the only poster who responded.
It’s more a case of my opinions not suiting the likes of yourself and many others.
I feel like I’m just an irritation for some of you blokes, but I’m on here to voice my opinion, not to agree like a sheep to what appears to be the popular opinion.
I’ve got a mind of my own and I say what I think about our football club.
{Ed025's Note - and well you should mate..
19 Dec 2025 16:43:32
?????? OP!
19 Dec 2025 23:12:59
Keep posting OP. Bit of debate is a good thing.
20 Dec 2025 08:37:44
I don’t know how real or fake the like toggles on this forum are, if they are it would appear that I’m a very unpopular poster on here Alf.
I don’t enjoy the fact that my posts are a constant irritation to some or perhaps most on here and I’m sure they would prefer I don’t post anymore.
It’s only my opinions and perhaps if I post less or take some time out, (I’m not going away though) then others will feel more comfortable agreeing to each other’s posts without me on here.
There are some absolutely sensational games coming up over Christmas including Sunderland Man Utd and Liverpool and for me as a Leeds United fan these will be the best Christmas presents I could ever imagine and I will be watching and enjoying every minute of them.
Have a wonderful Christmas all
and to the Ed’s who join in with some banter from time to time, nice one fellas ???
⚽️⚽️ Get In.
20 Dec 2025 12:05:01
Nope OP. we clearly have self likers and multiple clickers for some reason! It's like Starmer voting for himself, in the sense that no f***er else in their right mind would do so!
20 Dec 2025 14:41:04
Blimey OP, don't overthink things too much mate. I doubt there are posters who would rather you didn't post, it's really not that personal I would hope. We all share the same aim and its a very emotive thing, but I also don't think there is a clique of posters who just like agreeing with each other.
For me, I agree with the posts i like regardless and i am sure not everyone agrees with what i post, but that's the point isn't it? I think the only thing that gets a reaction is a post that is worded as if dismissive, or condescending towards, others opinions. All are valid agree or not.
