Be interesting to see whether DF has utilised the international break to improve us from Sunday onwards?
Many of our players have been on fully occupied on international duty but for all epl coaches these breaks are an opportunity to forensically assess previous results, dire performances.
I would hope (genuinely) that Daniel has some definitive ideas, changes from our previous two performances, where quite frankly the players did not honour the shirt.
Ever the optimist, I’m sincerely hoping to see a change in mindset from both the players and coaching staff alike.
Home games are so precious, however, they’re also a potential poison chalice if we witness yet another inept performance from our players and coaching staff, it will turn ugly very quickly.
We need to start like the first twenty minutes against West Ham at home and maintain it throughout with passion, fire, aggression attacking intent nothing less will suffice from now on.
I fear BA being announced in the starting line up will not inspire our home supporters, we will see.

It would be nice if Farke used this free time to analyse and watch the first 11 games.
He should know where and why it went wrong. Something changed. It could be a bit of both manager and players. But as some are always quick to point out, he sees them everyday so should know and see what’s changed.
Something of the drop points were unfortunate. But as you say since leading spam it’s gone pear shaped more and more every game.
I’d be flabbergasted if we put in a good performance v villa win lose or draw. A good performance is enough. But can’t see it. Hope I’m wrong.

Hopefully being in Germany doesn’t preclude DF from working Alf?
He’s not a teacher he should be working, well I blooming hope he’s been figuring out how to improve things at least.

James was tired from the Welsh international which is why we had to start with aarsonon and Harrison on the wings.

Lol MoT! Well fing is, everyone knows what needs doing. Starting 11, attitude, intent, in game management, substitutions, everything is under the microscope now. If DF doesn't and the players don't react to that then we know it's a bit of a pickle. But if BA starts I give up!

BA 1st name on sheet for some unknown reason, no way in hell will he be dropped, love to know the real reason why. Shame really he is without doubt one of the fittest players I have seen, but if only he could score, assist, pass and stay upright.

Limit to what work can be undertaken when you are away from the players you are meant to be coaching though.

Well Bri that is true, very fit, but then we have lots of players who can run about, what we need are players that can create and score. The number of times he loses possession and the variety of how he does is really quite impressive.
Add to that losing forward momentum by negative passing and simply not being physical enough again just begs the question of why he is on the pitch!
