Haven’t heard anything as to the seriousness of Gnonto’s ankle injury. I’d imagine it’s very unlikely that he’ll be playing against Swansea on Saturday.
I guess the only positive we can pluck out of this International break is that Aaronson didn’t play for the US.
If his dip in form is due to fatigue, which is reasonable to evaluate since he’s played nearly every game this season, then perhaps with a two week break he might have been able to reset and up his performances at least for the next few games.

Irrespective of fatigue I believe our Manager will continue to start young Brendan for the remainder of the season, no inside knowledge but 36 games in a row says Farke likes to start that way even though it’s been very clear BA has been missing for a good fifteen games or more now.

For me the most important person at the club for the remaining eight games is Farke, and results here on in is what it’s all about.

Rodon safe and well, and our young skipper back in the squad is the most important on the pitch news we can have. Gnoto out us unfortunate but we can play Nanor at 10 and Largie wide and I believe that makes us stronger.

Agree class no way will BA be dropped barring injury,

27 Mar 2025 12:58:53
Fatigue was a load of malarkey?‍♂️.

27 Mar 2025 15:15:09
Lol whiteman to be honest I would be tired doing all that running and nothing else.

As you all may have guessed I am not a big fan of BA but in fairness he does cover a lot of ground and he does chase and tackle back. Just a shame he doesn't do as well at the end of the pitch he should be in.

There see a touch of positivity about BA I have ambulance's on standby to help with the shock you are obviously going to be suffering from.

Oldbri, I agree not his biggest fan but he dose work hard and give 100% every time can be hot and cold but his heart is in the right place . Hopefully he will start scoring again lost his way a bit on this on this one.

What kind of statement is that Whiteman, do you have inside information on this?
I’m not a Aaronson fan but he has proved for the larger part of this season that he can bring something to the table and has proved that with goals and assists.
Farke has kept with him because he’s probably the best we have in that position.
Whether it’s fatigue or not it’s up to him to reproduce his earlier form, if he doesn’t then Gnonto will likely take his place.
The stories about him starting for us every game because he’s an American is just mindless rubbish. Anyone who believes that BS must have a hole in their head.
Aaronson will start on Saturday but if his performance is not up to scratch then he will lose his place.
It’s down to him now.

Because it’s just don’t wash. ??‍♂️.

27 Mar 2025 20:21:13
Congratulations Whiteman but you are not a professional footballer/ sportsman/ athlete the detail with due respect is very different from your lifestyle.

27 Mar 2025 21:05:27
OP As I said what a load of malarkey two games a week Traning for 3 hours a day eating the best food having a Massage and a bit of class work don’t make me ? with you so call Fatigue the only difference is the get paid well. Stop baby sitting OP or you just make excuse.

27 Mar 2025 21:30:57
What Whitey said
. footballers are on easy street.

28 Mar 2025 04:24:49
Then there’s nothing more to add to this thread if you want to be ignorant.

28 Mar 2025 06:54:02
Says OP who states " Farkey will drop BA IF his performances are not up to scratch"

*yet BA haa been well off form for yonks fella.

The difference between keeping fit, and in good shape, and playing a pro footie match at 90mph is immense. I commend you on your regime Whitey, as I do similar, but have played in pro am matches many times and been completely gassed vs the pros after a mere 15 to 20 mins, and they were taking it easy. For quite a few of those I was still in my 20’s too! Most on here would be puking or passed out after less than 5 mins at that intensity, let alone in the league, and 2-3 times per week. My point being, don’t underestimate the fatigue that is created in football, and other high intensity sports.

28 Mar 2025 10:31:17
Agree Baz BA was ok up to Christmas but done nothing else since so forn means nothing favouritism is another matter, how do we know BA is the best we have in that position when no one else is given an opportunity.

28 Mar 2025 23:18:14
Most on here are not 20 + year olds, M
I would love Brendan to spend 50 hours a week with me, on site, and conditions akin to his worst nightmare, but before that we go to Gym for an hour each morning and we go a for a run after work 2-3 nights a week

Brendan would know for sure, where he DOESN'T want to be .

He is a professional athlete, stop making excuses for him him running 10k twice a week tops,

100% spot on Chrissy.
