Bit of a rubbish show this potential injury list. Namecheck and piroe doubtful. Great. Might mean dom playing a full game which is a worry.

Agree0 Disagree0

It is Aus, you are right, and it just highlights the weaknesses in our squad in relation to the quality and depth we have. I would, however, like to see DCL play a full game, you never know we might be pleasantly surprised. Whoever starts, will I am sure get the full support from the Leeds faithful. MOT as always.

Dom Matteo?

12 Sep 2025 08:38:13
Great! I'm going to put my house on a hat trick for DCL, anyone following me?

12 Sep 2025 09:19:26
Knowing my lick ilk I will follow you and he will get 4, damn?.

Not sure it’s a weakness in squad we have just been promoted and are potentially missing

First choice keeper
Two first choice midfields and one sub midfield
Two strikers who have both started

Not sure many squads would enjoy that inury list… sometimes in life things are not anyones fault just bad luck… but leeds fans at the moment seem to want to point fingers and moan rather than look at the bigger picture.

{Ed001's Note - not often I get to agree with you Berm, but you are spot on here. Liverpool would struggle with that bunch missing, and they are the reigning champions who invested heavily in the summer. Of course it is going to be tough for Leeds to cope with it, no matter what they spent in the summer.}

Agree with your point berm and agree with ED, I rarely agree with your point berm.

Maybe give Harry some game time!
Still think Paddy would of been a asset to the team imo!

12 Sep 2025 10:41:21
Not sure anybody is pointing a finger but now you mention it. Haven’t a few of our signing got a history f injuries?
Bad luck for amps and ao at same time.

Bit of a poser indeed Berm. As Aus says we also have injury history questions over DCL, Okafor and Nmecha. We know Darlow will be in goal and the back four pick themselves at the mo with Boges, Rodon, Struijk and Gudmondsson. Do you risk Amps? Maybe go with Stach, Longstaff and Gruev if OK, Okafor left, Willy right and DCL. DJ to come off the bench later to exploit his pace against tiring players, JH replacing Okafor if he doesn't last. Just my penny's worth ?.

The flanks are my main concern especially the left.
Okafor was our second choice LW, I can only hope he comes good with time but we just don’t know and Harrison for all his huff and puff, for me simply lacks Premiership quality. On the right James I feel did improve his style and quality in the Championship but can he do it in the Premiership? He definitely doesn’t look on it at the moment and for me he is also a concern. So that only leaves Gnonto who does look in good form but he does lack goals.

I’m happy with midfield and defense, our attack is a slight concern with the two injury prone strikers.
I know they want to carefully manage their game time and I hope it works out. The club have invested a shed load of money on improvements in the medical department of our club and hopefully that will help avoid unnecessary long term or reoccurring injuries to some of our more susceptible injury prone players.
I definitely believe if DCL can avoid injury he will score goals, but his supply maybe thin and will depend on whether Okafor and James do come good.

As for goalie, well I think you already know my view on that.

That would be my team selection too Aus. The only doubt would be what to do if Gruev not fit, a half fit Amps (risky) , or maybe Bijol as a stand in DM which he's played as before.
