Lets be honest the owners were left with some crazy contract clauses, along with some ridiculous buys which has left us where we are.
Sorting all that was going to take time with challenges thrown up along the way.
Id like to think the 49'ers are serious about their investment and purely from an ego perspective will want to join the premier league.
I believe they will invest in the next 2 to 3 windows, this one included and the team will become much stronger (we all know the positions needed) .
The bigger issue for me is the manager, I'm yet to be convinced about our pattern of play, its too dependent upon individual flair to get results, remove that flare and what's left?
Work for the owners to do, don't think that will include changing managers but if you want to be successful then ruthless decisions need to be made.

I don’t think they are. Lots of players and clubs have them. If they wouldn’t sign without them then they are needed not stupid.

Look on bright side we have made a load of money that other clubs in spurs leauge could only dream of.

As for farke best leeds manager since maybe el tel or Wilko…. If only he was given 45 million like bubs not forced to sell 100 million.

Sad thing is because Belisa was useless farke has to sell these players due to the fortunes Belisa wasted.

Only an idiot doubts farke at this level, only a fool still rates Belisa.

Bielsa can do no wrong in my foolish eyes, Farke has undoubtedly a great championship record but currently believes Piroe warrants a starting place in this side and that Mess is the best keeper in this division.

If we went Roman gladiators style and asked Elland Roadwho they wished was manager of Leeds United going back twenty years if you like I’m confident Bielsa would be their overwhelming choice.

But none taken, Mrs Class calls me far worse names .

I've not heard anyone apart from you suggest the relegation clauses were acceptable.

As for Farke he had far more than £45 million worth of players at his disposal let year and his poor management denied us promotion. Shocking ineptitude towards the end of the season with players out of form still picked, players picked in incorrect positions, lack of substitutions, essentially no bravery when it was obvious changes were needed.

We're not going anywhere with him in charge. Best manager since Wilco? Mmm okay.

These are facts logged at company’s house

Leeds spent 45 million the year we went up then 350 million while in prem. Belisa had a great hand and messed it up

Farke had a joke of a pre season last year and got us 90 points then this year didn’t spend 45 million but sold 100 million how can any compare

Farke got Norwich up twice spending very little. And is still doing a good job

Belisa spent around 400 million while leeds manager these are facts companies house facts (watch the ger one leeds podcast with the expert who spoke about it) for 400 million he made us a joke.

Meanwhile farke is statistically the best manager the championship has ever seen again these are facts.

Farke had a very bad hand at leeds due to the 400 million Belisa wasted making us a joke.

I won’t mention it anymore but I don’t see how anyone can logically argue with this. Again these are facts and pretty damming.

That’s like giving farke 150 million to spend next summer I think he’d probably get us promoted.

What’s a few hundred million got to do with anything? Chelsea have spent billions, Citeh have spent billions but Guardiola still names Bielsa the greatest manager in world football, but then you also rated Allardyce football too as I recall.

I would pay as much as I could afford to watch Bielsa ball it was a struggle not to switch to golf watching today’s game.

Have to agree to disagree Berm nothing wrong with differing opinions, but I do not see the relevance to continually dig out Bielsa for the current teams woes.

Companies house can say what it likes but nobody knows who actually picked chose the players but we can definitely say who reunited a whole city and whose name is still sung loudly at games.

Class, some Leeds fans are bemoaning farke look at what farke has had to deal with

Last season was a joke and this year he has made over 100 million meanwhile Belisa spent 400 million

I make films my films was made for 280k has won awards and topped the amazing chart however can you compare it with deadpool which was made for over 200 million… course not.

Farke had bad hand Belisa had a great hand yet Belisa messed it up… useless manager… 400 million to fail.

Bermo, your logic completely ignores the fact that that Bielsa inherited a dogsh! t side with zero star players, who were underdogs to even reach the play offs and got a tune out of them and went on to win the league the season after.

Whereas Farke inherited a team which were favourites to get promoted, had millions more worth of talent and somehow failed to even get top two, then failed to win the play offs. This despite having an objectively better side than any team Bielsa managed while here.

I'm not saying Farke is a bad manager, he's not, but he's clearly got limitations and nowhere near the tactital acumen of Bielsa. Who worked wonders with a team consisting of Casilla, Ayling, Cooper, Berardi, Alioski, Dallas, Klich, Pablo, Bamford, and bleeding Tyler Roberts. Oh, along with turning Phillips into a fully-fledged international by coaching him to his potential.

That group of players had no right to do what they did in that promotion season, and furthermore go on to a 9th place finish the season after that in the Prem.

Some coaches can't get promoted despite having the best squad in the league, whilst great coaches can get promoted with a completelty mediocre squad that they somehow turned into world beaters. And were a joy to watch whilst doing it!

I thought it was funny at first but you're actually mental if you think that, mate. Seek help.

Peace…. they both are and have been decent managers. Both, in their own style have largely given us the best 3 or 4 years in a generation (or more) .

I was mortified when Bielsa was sacked, but I wouldn’t have him back. He did something special with a “special” group of players, but I also remember the utter derision when he was appointed on the terraces. I also remember that what was being said before that first game against promotion favourites Stoke.

I was surprised when Farke was appointed, but thanked for small mercies that they didn’t stick with Big Sam, so accepted it with an element of relief rather than any real expectation. I do think Farke has been unlucky and for that I would rather stick than twist at the moment.

We don’t need a change of manager, we are just inviting yet more turmoil. We have to accept our lot and that promotion is probably unlikely, especially top 2, but considering that has been the case for 95% of seasons in the last 40 odd seasons I struggle to understand why everyone gets so bent out of shape about it. Until Bielsa and latterly Farke, we were a run of the mill championship side at best. Both spoilt us with higher expectations.

Firstly he inherited a team that push for playoffs under monk.

First thing he was spend 17 million on bamford (huge fee for championship) he then loaned prem players.

Yes he coached them and imporved them bubs is a world class coach just useless match day manager (they are different things) .

In first season despite decent squad and strong finitial footings he threw away promotion twice in record breaking fashion… just facts

He then loaned three premiership quality players in nekitia white and Harrison and spent another 17 odd on costa… remember him

So second attempt he spent 45 million … again facts and won promotion with a squad that cost a fortune and had lots of prem loans.

Is this any kind of achievement…. No not for me.

Then in prem he spent 300 million… again facts and turned us into an absolute joke…. Back him if you want but it’s just makes no sense.

Farke has had a team in disarray with no money…. And done well…. No comparison

Yes bubs is great coach but as a manager awful…. To spend 350 million to make a team a joke that loses 5-1 almost every week… hockaday did better pound for pound.
