Muniz our number 1 target currently. £26m (with add ons) initial bid rejected, we have gone back with a £35m bid.

I'm not sure about him think I would look abroad for that sort of money, just my opinion.

its a lot of money for one player certainly - imagine if he gets injured.

31 games, 8 goals, valued at 20 million euro on transfer market and we're going to spend 35 million?
Either they've seen the possibility of investment or they've gone a bit bonkers.
{Ed007's Note - Ignore player valuations on Transfermarkt mate, they are set by normal fans in a forum they run to discuss them. Them using them stupidly ruins what is an excellent source for stats imo.}

Thanks for the that, Ed. I wasn't aware that the valuations were calculated like that. It would explain why meslier was worth 18 million.
{Ed007's Note - No worries buddy, they explain it themselves HERE.

There's a post somewhere saying that Muniz's appearances have been primarily as a sub and that he's averaging a goal every 90 minutes. Admittedly he'll be fresh and some of the opponents knackered. However, I agree that it's a lot of money for another clubs second or third striker.

We will get Muniz for around 28 million pounds. Fulham just testing how stupid we would be to pay 35 million. They will give in soon.

Personally, If I offered a club a decent figure for a player who is predominantly a bench warmer, at that club asked for a daft price, I would walk away and tell them they can keep paying the players' wages.

He's just the style of player we need upfront, but 35 is stretching it. I can see Bermuda's figure, plus a few add ons to be honest. So pretty much in line with what our budget is reported to be!
