Watching the highlights of yesterday’s match. How important was Darlow’s save in the 62nd minute? Great to see such good team efforts at such an important time in the season.
{Ed025's Note - that was a world class save PR..

I thought Wolves were awful in the first half, I even imagined a four nil lead by half time.
Second half they played much better and became more dominant in their play. Had they scored a goal in the second half which they nearly did, I think the result could have been different.
We are still giving away the ball far too often with poor passing and I saw quite a few players do that yesterday.
I honestly don't know how many points are needed to avoid the drop but surely three more should be enough. Bournemouth away might be a big ask to get all three but I really hope Daniel Farke is telling his players to give their all and more to try and beat Bournemouth without any thought for the Chelsea cup game.
Beat Bournemouth on Wednesday and almost certain that is it as far as securing our continuation in the Premiership for another season.
I watched the Spurs game, they did play better than recently but the tension and anxiety in their players to the fans in the stadium is too much for them to avoid relegation in my mind.
It's uncharted waters for them all and far too much pressure to deal with, you can see that De Zerbi is the wrong coach emotionally wise to get them through this and keep them up.

Agree with all that, Opti.
But in my view we tried to shut up shop rather than keep at them and score 4 or 5. Second half they did improve and close us down, but the second half was pretty dire. And, as you say, a lot of diff players guilty of f poor passing.

Oh, and for what it's worth, in accordance with the first part of your name. I think we have enough now.

Ye baby, what a week or so, got into semi of Cup and 6 points in the bag with great performances, we were rampant first 30 min against Wolves, love it.
No reason we can’t get a result against Bournemouth, but still hope spam and Forest lose, thanks to Rutter too.

To state the obvious, a massive win today.
A good first half, but we lost our tempo in the second. I’m not entirely sure why this happens, but unless we play at a high tempo we are a poor EPL team.
How bad were Wolves today? Glad we didn’t play them a couple weeks back when they seemed to believe they had a chance of survival.
What a week we’ve just had. 😀

Agree with all that Cork. First 30 was good, then we turned negative instead of keeping the momentum going. Disappointing, being at home too. Oh well. Mustn't grumble. 3 points and virtually safe now.

Glory Glory Leeds United. 🤣🤣

3 goals.
And, 3 very important points.
Huge back to back EPL wins.
Happy days.

For me Farke has done very well and we would be mad to jettison him even if the worst was to happen, he would also be the best option to get us back up.
If we stay up, we need to move on 4 or 5 and if we can strenghten in the same way as we did last summer we should be looking at a top half finish.
{Ed025's Note - my advice would be not to set the bar too high 1970, you will stay up im sure mate but its a case of slowly slowly catchee monkey, there are a lot of good teams in that top half and its all about consolidation for Leeds over the next couple of seasons then take it from there..imo..

I've been meaning to post this for a while now, but something Alf said has prompted me to do it!
I said maybe a month ago that I thought DF would be replaced at the end of the season irrespective of various outcomes.
My only reason for this is our repeated capitulation in the final moments, minutes, injury time etc., which has lost us valuable points.
Now, this is not 100% laid at his feet, as it shows (to me, anyway) a mental weakness in those players on the park at that time, and a lack of leadership on the pitch. It is, however, his responsibility as manager to put in place the remedy for those flaws, whatever it takes. West Ham, for me, was the final nail in my mind, and probs the 49ers too.

There are many other reasons too bright.
The only way he is not chopped is if we get relegated, haven't got any cash and can't find anyone to take the job.

Others may have many more reasons, Aus, but for me, that is the one that means it's necessary. He does lots of things very well; some things he has improved, and a few still need improvement. I rate him as a coach, but not having resolved the late concessions issue is why I would replace him.
11 Apr 2026 09:08:27
He may have improved on some things, but as well as conceding late, his team selection is generally monotonous and predictable. His teams are negative. His substitutions are mostly bewildering, and his coaching from the touch line is non-existent. His success in the Championship is mainly down to managing the best team. The Prem is a whole different ball game.

What Aus said in both his posts ..nailed it.

But you have no comment on the initial post, Baz?
