Can’t see any mileage in the Werner interest. Classic overtones of some journo making the link of Werner being German and with a RB club.
From what I hear RB Leipzig are threatening to freeze Werner from playing football unless he actively starts looking for another club. He is rubbish and commands a 10Mil a year wage contract.
Can’t see the 49er’s entertaining any nonsense like that.
Fellows however would be very interesting, decent winger and apparently valued around 10 Mil.
Can see us still in the market for another winger and possibly a attacking midfielder.
Understand everyone wanting a striker but our club is not going to be splashing out 50+ Mil for the kind of striker that has the quality to be of any good to us.

We need an upgrade on everyone we have now, a marquee signing if you like.

Corkey, we tried the so called marquee signing, a while ago but the lad decided he preferred Marseille.
That will be your problem of attracting the top quality.
They are not really interested in signing for a newly promoted club that most pundits and journalists are predicting to go straight back down the following season.

I dunno lads. Raph cost 17 mill and eith football inflation we are looking at a 30 mill marquee signing to match that.
There is talent out there at that price to give us the creator we desperately need.
