I say again too many players not good enough for prem. Need big centre back. Need prolific striker. Need quality midfielder. Passing poor. Defending poor. Lack of ideas and bad choice of pass. Players looked tired again after an hour. Going to be a long season unless we improve quickly me thinks.

sorry disagree its all on the manager

who at West Ham is better than our players?

one manager who is good had a game plan and got his players playing the other coach got a plan a that is not working and is easy to pick things apart

also dare a say we look tired. unlike a belisa team to get tired. said before less murder ball more corner ball.

Mike 55 fully agree mate, major investment in January other wise it could be to little to late,

3.) 12 Dec 2020 07:37:27
Bermondsey sorry disagree all of them mate, players look lost give the ball away every time can’t score, can’t defend we will be very lucky to stay up, next two games we won’t win, keeper was the only one out there that did anything.

We were beaten by one of the top sides. Need to compete in the mini league of bottom 10 teams this season which should be fine. Improve squad in summer and go for top 8 next season. IMHO we need 1 cb lb cm wm and striker as minimum. Sadly a lot of the promoted lads are getting found out by the top teams. Some players also looked tiredlast night which is worrying.

I get why posters state we should be fine but to do so we will definitely need to start winning more at home.

1 win at home in 5 is bottom 6 relegation battle material stats

Next 3 games at home to West Ham, Newcastle and Burnley are vital.

agree BV

its ok playing nice football and everyone loving us but let's be honest our defending is maybe league one standard.

last night could of been nine, we have conceded loads of goals in most other games and let's be very honest our clean sheets have all been very lucky.

shelf utd hand score at that point and couldn't buy a goal and it still took two wonder saves for clean sheet

arsenal was 10 men and they should of scored at the end

villa we played well but clearance off the line

we have been lucky not to of conceded a lot more and unless we wise up and improve we could be in trouble

every corner looks like a goal against and that is Sunday league stuff

champs league going forward but Sunday league at the back just makes life much harder than it needs to be. we are a very good team and play great stuff but we need to focus and work on the basics

less murder ball more corner ball.

We need to use all means including emotional ties to get Haaland . The lad is absolute class and works hard too.

It would be absolutely brilliant but in reality.

No chance of it happening as although Haaland has as it turns out a very reasonable release clause of £67 million clause, it can't be activated until 2022 and more to the point one can expect all the top clubs to be in for him witb offers of very high salaries to boot far in excess of what Leeds could offer.

As for any emotional ties the lad was born in Leeds and his dad played for Leeds so there is a tenuous connection of sorts , but also from his interviews when asked Haaland has clearly stated that he does not support Leeds.

Money will talk end of.

2.) 30 Nov 2020 05:20:10
Baz What you describe is hardly tenuous. Are you unfamiliar with concepts such as home is where the heart is and to follow in your father's footsteps? I can see us in the mix for him next year along with the more powerful Citeh and sadly other big clubs. You never know.

3.) 30 Nov 2020 07:22:02
Mike1955, that would definitely be a top class signing, let’s hope in January window lol!

{Ed0666's Note - there’s more chance of me and my brother getting married and having triplets than there is of Haaland signing for Leeds this summer.

4.) 30 Nov 2020 11:50:44
George blind optimism and naivety 😉 if Haaland signs for Leeds in tne next 2 years ( or even at all ) I will run down the street naked.

5.) 30 Nov 2020 13:52:55
Baz Please may I choose the street and time? How about 9am? Street, let's go with a Blackburn Rovers left winger in his mid thirties, his last name to be sure. Full tv coverage. You can then go sightseeing with Berm.

6.) 30 Nov 2020 14:59:20
Well George there is always your sure thing Che Adams signing prediction to fall back on. Oh wait 😉.

7.) 30 Nov 2020 11:02:37
Indeed Ed0666
I hope you are right George however unlikely.

{Ed0666's Note - I’m not being a naysayer but he’s at Dortmund now which is a big a club as Leeds if not bigger. It’s logic to suggest he would continue on an upward spiral not go sideways or downwards. He’ll have the pick of clubs when he leaves Dortmund and I won’t be getting married to my brother.

8.) 30 Nov 2020 18:24:42
Logical indeed Ed.

{Ed001's Note - I have my doubts about what he said. He lives in the deep south USA, there is every chance he will marry his brother...}

9.) 30 Nov 2020 18:49:34
GLad to hear your brothers operation was successful Ed.

{Ed0666's Note - in actuality it wasn’t successful so we’ve decided to adopt. I’m still marrying him tho because he’s the man of my dreams

10.) 01 Dec 2020 15:40:49
Ed0666 Leeds have been a big club since the 60s with some very low lean years but the future looks good and Leeds have potential to get bigger with the right backing and owners and be far bigger than Dortmund.
