Satisfied next season is 17th or above (but please no nail biting) . Success is staying up easily. Bottom half but with ease.
Anything else is jam (mid table or top half) .
It is crucial now, the recruitment. I will not criticize (well maybe a little, if deserved) for, so far I am more than happy with incomings and now (with deeper pockets) long may it continue.
I will also refuse to add to speculation with all the names bandied about for, as we know, the Leeds way is, bubble up 99 names and buy the 100th which then gets us all rushing to Google. Still, worked so far!

17th def not good enough. Seriously?
If we improve our current team by over 100 mill. I’d be looking at top 12.

I think we will do well. We got a great manager decent squad and great onwers who have been spot on with recuritment and will to back us
I predict 12-8 next season and think they will put us back at top table in the next few seasons.

I reckon we will finish 8th-10th.
A good start, a shaky Xmas period and end the season on a run of wins.
I have a feeling that one of our new signings is going to gel the team together and be the rising tide that lifts all boats.

I think top half. The biggest factor we have is the unity of the club and staff, similar to under Wilko, O'Leary and Marcelo. When we are on a wave magic happens. I see no reason why we can't compete and don't subscribe to the mantra of survival, we are better than that and instead of being victims of "welcome to the premiership" we need to reply "welcome to the new world"

I wish I had a crystal ball but I do not see how the current squad can achieve top 10 (maybe they can? ) and, as we have not signed anybody yet I think it is a little bit premature to predict. let's all wit till the end of the summer and see just what our line up looks like.

Current squad we straight back down
The end ?.

Add 100 Mill to current squad and got to be top 12. Unless recruitment or manager fails us. This team would be in a relegation battle but imo not guaranteed to go down. Don’t forget play off winners Burnley and custard.

I'm with Leodis and Chris on this one I'm afraid. Current squad, yes, are unified, with a great spirit, and a good gaffer, but will struggle as is. We need min 4 top quality signings, AND for them to stay fit all season, and with that we might just get a strong, commendable mid table finish.
And for clarity on signings, I mean top quality, not necessarily "big names". 4 more Tanakas would be just great by me!

Baz Baz, I mean, Chris Chris, our squad has talent beyond the levels we have reached.
If we had another defender to go along with Rodon and amps, a proper shot stopper in goal, a 10 and a striker, we will be in a good position.
I know you can't convert every chance made, but if a striker converts 50% of the chances we create, we will be laughing.
On top of that, I suspect next season a lot of clubs will struggle to win many games, making it easier for the cream to rise to the top. Notts, man city, Newcastle, arsenal, maybe Chelsea will be top six, the rest I can see them falling apart or struggling.
We have a potential of 'easy' games against teams that are dire. If it wasn't for Ipswich, southhampton and Leicester doing so poorly, spuds and man U would be relegated.
If we win 30% of our games next season, we will be safe. Drawing 30% will see up towards top. That's my belief anyway.

Thanks for Comparison Mot, ?
But you do you, and I will remain unconvinced.
Comparing ANYTHING we did or have to what's facing us next August is like apples and oranges, so if you believe that suddenly Gruev is going to turn into a star or that Piroe is going to get15 goals in my opinion your miles off pal.
23 May 2025 17:52:46
I agree with gruv but I don’t think pirole could surprise a few and get maybe 12 goals or more next season.
24 May 2025 00:44:32
I don’t want to be starting piroe.
