The Bounenotte move makes Leeds look good. For a player to choose Chelsea over Leeds, only to then sign for Leeds shows that we are an attractive option.
I know he was getting no game time and warming the benches, but he still chose Leeds. Likewise with DCL.
Leeds are looking every bit the team to join if you want your face putting out there and want game time in a WC year.

Thought dcl wasn’t keen to join us at first until he was offered enough wads.
And bouc needs first team football for World Cup.

Individual reasons are wanting to do the best for them, both wanted game time, no other clubs offered it.
DCL was wise enough to see it, FB saw it six months late.
Either way, the story is the same; if you want to play, sign for Leeds.
This will attract bigger names than our level would suggest come summer.

Nah. You rose tinted on this one mot. Both had selfish reasons for signing. Nothing to do with our club preference. Might have worked. And may still. But nothing to do with Leeds. Just them.

Aye Aus, that's what I meant. They signed for selfish reasons and those reasons looked good on Leeds.
