Great article on bbc sport written by Tony (long throw) Pulis about the difference in management back then and today.
In particular the use of data and sports science (injury management) and how he removed three beds from Stokes injury clinic and banned players from entering unless confirmed as injured as he believed it created the wrong mindset.
Have met Tony with his old Stoke lead Scout Mike a few times, great football people and so many hilarious stories, I’ve told him he should do a speaking tour, hope he does.

Always been a huge fan of pulis and called for him to be leeds gaffer many times.
Ahead of the curve and because it wasn’t sexy football never got the credit he deserved.

You should interview him Berm, brilliant guy I’m sure there’s a film to be made of those halcyon days of the 70s and 80s delving inside clubs.
