I have no knowledge of the keeper coach, but if last years errors from Messlier are anything to go by, then maybe a change is needed?

Always thought it was quite interesting that he held onto his post for so long given our development of goalkeepers didn’t seem to shine through incredibly. Possibly one more factor to encourage Meslier to move on as well, given they must have had a very close relationship!

Unfortunately the timing of Meslier at Leeds Utd hasn’t worked out but I’ve no doubt in my mind he will develop into a world class keeper at another club in the near future.

The anomaly was Rodrigoal actually played very well last season OP under Brenty but not so much Bielsa

BUT Gashlier was awful under Bielsa in season 21/ 22 also

And name one player in football world history who was gash at 24! and then somehow developed into a world class player .

I suspect Farke will want his own goalie to put a stamp on his team and style! Obviously mixed opinions on Meslier but a lot rate him so probably a good time for all sides to cash in and move on! Like OP I suspect he will have a good career away from us. Not much funny being Leeds goalie over the last two seasons and so think that’s took it’s toll. Hope the lad rebuilds his confidence and does well.

Meslier certainly wasn't gash and broke positive records for us while he was our no.1. He was excellent under Bielsa when we had a defence and only after our defence evaporated into injury or wretchedness did he start having much poorer games. I believe he will be a great keeper in time and in the right team provided he works on some of his weaker areas. wouldn't mind him staying at all.
